Yep, their instructions are bad. Techstream is much easier!

I broke out my Windows XP laptop with Techstream

Turned off the auto telescoping functionality of the steering wheel. I figure it is bound to break sometime with all of those cycles!

I asked the Lexus dealer to turn this off for me the other day, service writer said no problem, mechanic said they couldn't do it. Pretty annoyed.

Just had my done at the dealer in ABQ

Finished up three cargo door projects today that I have been working on for the last two Sunday's

This is a sneak peak, I will do a write-up on all three in my Build Thread. I really need to update it....
Easy Rear Cargo Handle mod using washers for less than $3 in hardware. Special Thanks to @Scat Adams for the grab handle idea!

Emergency cargo door latch. Special thanks to (Can't remember who came up with this idea).

And finally the Front Runner fold down table with cutting board that has been sitting in my garage for over a year and someone beat me to the install but I have photos on how to do it that I will share with the forum.

How do you like that table? I've been eyeing it...

It's nice, it's heavy, and unfortunately mine came with some damage. My wood cutting board has a big chunk of filler on the back side (See photo below). And the bolts for the rubber stoppers were too long so they chipped away the powder coat. I have trimmed the bolts and touched up the powder coat.
I will comment more once I take it out for a test run.

Does it rattle at all?

Had new OEM muffler and tailpipe installed. And then put it up for sale.

Wheeled with some ladies and fellas and attempted to make it up Rice peak,
But snow and ice had other ideas. Nearly slid backwards into the front of the FJ going up a hill. Butthole pucker factor 10, so we turned around and just did some lower elevation stuff. Checked out Peppersauce Cave, and headed home. It was a good Sunday minus almost dieing. I’ve been really happy with the Radflo setup on the truck, I just want

Black Cat has your Radflo squeak mellowed a bit yet. I know have not been running that long but curious.

Does it rattle at all?

No rattle on the commute into work this morning. The thing is made really well.

I do need to maybe add a spacer to the back on the right side because it is a little flexed and when I closed the cargo door one time the table fell down. But I think straightening it out will prevent that from happening again.

did the door pull and table, like them both. I want to add knifes and stuff like they did in Lexi

COO!, what are the suspension set-ups in each of those rigs?

I got a few new cut keys and transponders today! Ordered them from 1010keys on eBay.

I had some trouble with the programming sequence - turned out one of the steps was wrong on their instruction.

I broke out my Windows XP laptop with Techstream and added the new keys to work with the immobilizer.

While I was in there I changed the locks to unlock when the truck is out into park and turned off the auto telescoping functionality of the steering wheel. I figure it is bound to break sometime with all of those cycles!

nice!

I haven't fully researched but have thought a bit about it... What's the non-dealer way to change to custom settings? Ergo: lock or not shifting from P; audible beep and/or light flash upon arm/disarm; how to reset window and roof features to auto down/up on one-push, on/off telescoping wheel, timing for auto-off lighting, etc....
Do you have a program on your dino XP that programs settings intot he key, that translates to the truck? Is there computer to OBDII interface to make those changes via program? Are there infuriating key motion to combination window switches, odo push0button, shifter sequencing to set these setting?
I know it probably reads very oddly, but they're legit questions. ;)

Ooh I like that option to unlock all doors with one click. I will have to ask for that next time I am at the dealer.
To join this discussion of custom functions... There's the push and hold that lowers all windows, but AFAIK no all-close via button push. . . is there a key fob button pressing to close all windows?
