dropped exhaust pipe, pulled steering shaft and box. removed egr cooler and pipe and replaced egr gasket at #6 manifold port. Reassembled......

I got fuzzy dice for the pig today!

Primed the rear sill. Finish painting it tomorrow then I'm gonna douse the backside with LPS-3. I have an appt for a reconditioned sticker on the 21st. Certain modifications on cars/trucks have to be inspected to ensure safety here on O'ahu. *fingers crossed

I just bought the pieces for the tailgate glass run and they made my window worse. They are to darn rubbery, they grab the glass and made me ruin the motor before I yanked them out. Went back to my old crusty ones and threw my spare motor in and it works ok again... Just giving you a heads up on those pieces, I can't speak for anything else as I haven't used it.

I have heard of this problem before and people that had this problem mentioned that some spray silicone should be used...It will messy up your window for a bit of time, but apparently it helps with the problem you are referring to. I think they had to do this about twice a year.

Just brought home an 87 2f to put into my 72 pig. Just got to find a way to get it off the trailer :)

tie it to something and drive away.. :hillbilly: . its how I unloaded my 55 ...

took out the aluminum radiator with a hole in it and put in the 73 Fj55 radiator I had on a shelf.

The Taurus fan fits perfectly as a pusher. A tiny bit of trimming and it's a tight fit on all four sides. I had to pull the latch plate and the support rod, but they don't do anything anyway. I shouldn't have any problems with it getting into the water pump pulley if it works as a pusher.

Todd,

Just some random questions. Are you running just the pusher or a pusher and a puller? Did you keep the a/c condenser, and PS cooler in front of the radiator?

I have heard Syl Glide is good for windows

Pablo, I actually used this stuff. Got it from my old job but it didn't work. So maybe my tailgate is weird. Jon didn't really help he just said it hasn't been an issue. So... I guess I have some nice rubber to use on something someday.

No AC. No PS cooler at the moment. I have a Howe ram with a big remote res. I have a trans cooler from a Taurus that would make a great PC cooler. When I put it in I'll put it with the trans cooler on the inside of the radiator.

wow that thing is sweet.

rear sill

Got the rear sill welded in. Will have to wait and paint it tomorrow. It's not perfect by any means but it will do for now.

Would love to see more pics of this. My back two mounts are for ****! I was thinking that this would be a great way to go. Are you going to have a tailgate?

Here ya go. I haven't welded in every patch panel, my main goal was to get it functional for now, then make it pretty later. I painted it with semi-gloss black. The tube is 3/8 4x4" For access to the body mount bolts, I cut out one side and then welded in a block off plate to close off the tube on either end. I think the whole thing is about 51" long.

I used one of the Pigs to....bring home the new floorpans for the other pig!!

Piggypans005.jpg

And bring home some Trials bike handlebars also, evidently.

These are really nice replacement floorpans from Bob in New Hampshire. If you are not familiar with his work, see "Floorpans +" or "Winner of floorpans" elsewhere in the Preservation Society.   :D
