Put 600 miles on the piggy today! Cranbrook, B.C. to Pocatello, ID. Tomorrow off to Tuscon, AZ to pick up some stuff and then back up to UT for the Relic Run on Friday.

The piggy will have over 3000 miles put on in the course of the next week or so!!

I'm sure my butt will be telling me before long too.

I forget, do you have the stock front seat?

...What am you doing to your Pig right now?

See that broken crossmember? I gotta take it off. Means I get to take off the parking brake for the 3rd time in a month, remove speedo gear housing, the Pardi case saver and the cone to get the crossmember off.

Edit: better shot of the Pardi Casesaver...

Where I am now...

Pighead. Pardi case saver? I have never heard of this. Who makes it? What drivetrain are you running? I am very curious. I am worried about blowing up my t-case. I have a 350 sm465 np203 4 spd. Tcase. I am worried this is too much for the toy case.

Yes. The Pardi case saver. Made by John Pardi one would assume, one of the pair of case savers on my one-piece t/c. More pics tomorrow.

We are talking about Charles here, of course he has the stock front seat... :D

Yep, but it's been re-sprung in Guatemala of course!! It's about as good as a piggy front bench can be.

alot of the folks here havent been in the community as long as us, is pardi even still making them?

i have a pardi saver as well as the other one on top of the case, been running a dblr and big tires for a long time and so far they have worked.

I do not know if John still makes them or not...I saw him on the Rubithon but did not ask.

Spent some time on the phone with Advanced Adapters because the kit they sent for my 4L80e to cruiser T-case had the wrong parts in it! Grrr.

John isn't making them, but the guy in this thread https://forum.ih8mud.com/40-55-series-tech/360170-those-pardi-plate-experience-question.html has developed his own with help from John. ColReb was going to sell them, but not sure if he made a production run. I have 1 each Pardi Plate Stiffener on 2 of my rigs.

Awesome. Let some of us know when you hit Tucson. I'll buy you a beer or 3.

Got the piggy title changed and registered with a 30 day temp plate so I can get it through emissions.

In Tuscon TONIGHT!! Heading out in the morning for Vegas and then a late arrival at the "Relic Run".

Do you still get that hole or pocket under the driver after driving for a while?

Not any more!! That was why it was resprung.

Today the Guatemalan repair on the rear brake shoes let go and the shoes separated from the friction material thus causing me a big delay in getting to the "Relic Run".
