More info on that bumper!! Very nice..

Thanks,

The bumper bolts up to the factory frame and crossmember using the supplied 10.9 grade hardware, no need for cutting or hacking on your 70. If your frame doesn't have the OE capture nuts... no problem, just let me know and I will supply grade 8 zinc hardware for mounting.

Main shell is 3/16" plate. Side plates are 1/4" plate. I can adjust to make up to a 37" tire fit and still clear the tail lights and be able to open the small door only. Bushing style spindles with locking spring pins. Destaco double lock toggle clamp. Jerry can basket is 14.5" x 14.5" will hold most dual can set-ups (I can make this in a solid plate style if TUBE is not your cup of tea). A custom length E-track strap comes with the basket. Tire mount is adjustable to accommodate a range of wheel backspacing options.

Other options can be added as well. Recessed or flush mount LED signal lights, hammock pole, Hi-lift mount, work/camping extendable light pole, etc..

Only thing that has been an issue is the clearance for the exhaust pipe. I've had 1 that needed to be cut to clear the bumper and 4 so far that fit fine. Not sure if the aftermarket or OE pipe routing/length is the issue.

Let me know if you need more info. Pricing varies, pending your wants and needs. As always, if there is a special something you want... The name of the company is TRAIL-TAILOR... I'll work with you to get you where you want to be on a design.

Shoot it clear so those nice welds can be seen.......:grinpimp:

I think color case hardened would be really cool ;)

Indeed....Colt case color.

Beats the hell out of my welds .... :hillbilly:

That would explain my welds ... every single point

I paid for it and hauled it home on the back of a truck.
1986 FJ75 with a rebuilt 3F and new clutch.
Has had rust cut out and is mostly in primer ready to paint (my first job to do on it)
Then it's replace the mounting rails on the tray and the headboard and remount the tray.
