An interesting rear topper, bumper combination. I’m assuming a South African product. 😁

couple of thing... Custom snorkel and installing the electrical on the EATON F/R lockers. I replaced the bulky, messy wiring with a 3 relay block (2 will serve the lockers and 1 the lights) and adding the OEM switches with potted connected wires and Deutsch connectors.

They came to you potted/sealed or you did that?
Very bulletproof.
Did that. Used OEM female pins and crimped them. Used crazy glue on the gap between the male pins and the plastic of the connector otherwise the epoxy creeps in before curing and locks the switch.

Defied the laws of physics yesterday...must have had a tailwind.

I was not able to confirm with a cell-phone app. But I was passing people on the freeway, something that rarely happens.

Used my the 8274 to pull out a horse trough I buried about 10 years ago.

It was a planter to contain bamboo that only survived a few years. It was pulling the truck, with three wheels blocked. Initially tried 'lifting' it with the snatch block attached to the steel pole

but it was deflecting the pole too much, so I switched it up and pulled it straight from one end...destroyed the trough, but its out.

It looks like I've got the start of a grave dug now.

It’s mostly together ready for driving. Just need to finish the interior electrical. Need a wash. In front of the ARB car oppressor goes the CC servo from an 80 series.

killer!
this is what i want... pop top troopy 1hdt. Front bumper is what i run on my bj70 and looks good, lights are in the same place too
It’s actually a 80 series drivetrain. 1HDFT/H152. I’m dealing now with the electrical and the ‘house’ in the back.

yes, good stuff

Washed the bride's FZJ70 and was not in a rush so I attempted to clean under the hood. The FZJ70 is a 1997 model from Saudi Arabia that is in great shape, so I was not anticipating the results to be very pronounced ... just a getting rid of grim.
I used ColorPurple degreaser/cleaner with a non-scratch pad on an area of the hood, then rinsed to check results. To reveal this

Removing the accumulated grim from the hood yielded better results than I had expected. I started with a nearly empty bottle of ColorPurple and exhausted it cleaning the test area. Clearly, I was not realizing how much the grim dulled the paint. A run to the store to restock on cleaner was merited.

This is how she turned out.
