Had to kill some time waiting for FedEx guy to deliver my lift kit. So I pealed the ugly EFI Turbo Wagon stickers off my doors. The bug spray worked really well for breaking down the adhesive.

Yeah no problem. I think i'll post up what I used this weekend and then report back. I bought several ''options'' and extras just in case. once i get it all buttoned up i'll post up a break down of what was used. Most of it is ebay and amazon so the cost is an easy pill to swallow.
Ok done deal. The lift is done. Leveled it up nicely. I went for a 200mi test drive to Spokane and back to see how it handled with the stock control arm bushings. I couldn't tell any difference. I guess with the 1.75” lift I wont need the caster correction bushing I bought with the springs.
Went through a lot of ammo at our club’s first “Cruisers, Guns & Chicken Sandwiches” event.

I swapped out the ailing $100 radio for a $140 radio.
Almost the exact same model (so nothing to solder or crimp) but this one is the "marine" version so I hope it lasts longer under the soft-top and/or open air.

Yes. I decided since I had them I might as well put them on. It only took a little over 2 hrs to swap them out. Didn't even need to jack up the truck or take off tires. I just got back from a test drive and there is actually quite a noticeable improvement in handling over the original stock bushings.
Been building this troopy for a while. Only thing original is the frame except the front suspension (coil conversion) and 50% of the body. So this week got the tach to work courtesy of @joekatana. Thank you brother!!! Apparently the one I bought on eBay two years ago was not for a 1Hx engine. This is great because the drivetrain is 80 series. 1HDFT/H151.
The excitement yesterday was that I managed to fit an 80 series speedometer so there is no mechanical cable running the Speedo but also I can use the output of the Speedo to run the 80 series cruise control. Also 4x4lab bumpers are done, grill is almost done and panels courtesy of @orikawa are done. Thank Spencer!!! All going to powder coating.

Picked up my Kamparoo camper yesterday. The fabrication shop is only two hours north of me. On the whole, pulling a sub 1000 pound trailer down the highway was as easy as my previous rooftop tent, and easier in the wind.
The max coupler eliminated any trace of noise and secondary vibes over bumps, and the RedArc Elite brake controller worked exactly as claimed, despite the 24 volt/12 volt hurdle.
Trailer is 13 feet long from end to end, 7 foot tub, and is a rear fold with amazing amounts of space when opened. Bonus: a setup time of about two minutes once leveled.

If you mean how did I remove and install them, I first compressed the suspension then strapped the shocks with bailing wire to keep them compressed while removing and istalling the springs. If you mean did I use 2” lift compatible shocks, yes I did but dont know the brand. I put them on a couple years age and they are not labeled.
