The one issue, that wouldn’t bother others, but I’m getting soft in my old age, is the hard plastic lid on the unit. I decided to upgrade to something a little more soft.

I almost made a set of "bridging ladders" welded out of unistrut and expanded metal. Mount on the side removable like what you did. longer but also able to fold down and act as countertop when camping.

Decided to tackle my sagging rear side windows. The old grommet/gaskets had given up the ghost. Taped the windows to the body to reduce my risk of breaking them. Easy access through the C pillar to the hinges.

Good aspects of a cold winter. The journey to the other side of the home municipality is halved for a few months in winter because of ice road over the lake. On the same trip I got to test the GTurbo I installed a few weeks ago

It most definitely is. My kids have to drive stick in order for me to let them get their Driver License! On the interwebs there is a classic car jacking caught on camera and the guys drag driver out and get in .. can’t figure out stick shift so jump out of car and run away!
