A few pics I took from this past weekend at the 70 Series Meet and Greet real fun time with some awesome cruisers

Well, the good news is my 73 is not leaking oil. The less good news it's leaking diesel. Any suggestions where to start my search? It's dry (as in non leaky) from the tank to the filter and onward. I guess the pump is where I start looking unless there is another common part that likes to leak diesel I should look at?No stop leak!!!
Clean and degrease the engine and start looking again.

My 73 is a "beater" compared to most of the other rigs I saw at the get together. I have rubber "fatigue mat" from lowes on the floor(waterproof) and normally wash it out with a water hose and put a space heater in it overnight to dry it out. No carpet, no jute pad. Water only about 6" deep inside the car(I didn't sit still in the water long).@robmobile73 : Well done. Fingers crossed the starter and your other electrics didn't suffer.
6 in over the hood? That's deep. If your axle- and gearhouse breathers are not elevated that high, you should check the oils.
What about the interior? Any damage or just wet?
Anyway. Just amazing what our rigs can do.
A really nice function of those front step bumpers is that when you get stuck in a mudhole you can climb out the window and across the head and stand on the front bumper while getting out your winch cable and throwing it to someone not in the mudhole, it's a nice capability to have/think about before you replace that front bumper with something "more stylish". There will be alot of heavy duty stuff on that rig and probably low miles to boot.
Thanks a bunch! I’ll start poking around this weekend but the pump surely looks wet from diesel. Any part specific number/model on that Bosch primer pump if that turns out to be the issue?I would guess the primer pump on the side of the injection pump. The primer pump can be replaced with a bosch unit for cheap and that tends to fix that issue. However it could be somewhere else on the pump as well.

Pulled mine out of the garage (on it’s own power) after about 18 months under the knife. Still wrapping a few things up. Hzj79 body, 80 series frame, 2uzfe, a343f
BJ73 or HZJ73 ? The BJ has the primer on the side of the IP while the HZJhas the primer on top of the fuel filter . If HZJ probably time to remove the pump and have it resealed .Awesome, thank you again. But now I feel lik an idiot because I can't for the life of me figure out where the primer is located on the injection pump. Neither from poking around in the engine or from the exploded diagram on amayama...I feel it should be obvious where it is...
I did find a nice little leak on the return hose from the last injector back to the pump though...
They’re first gen Tundra, Tacoma, Sequoia spare wheels. What the 80 series guys typically run.Looks great! What wheels and tires? Look like 80 series steelies.
LJ73. It’s me being and idiot again. I’ve got the primer on top of the fuel filter but somehow got it into my mind there was a second one on the IP. I can see a leak from the overflow hose if i build up pressure with the pump manually so I’ll start there. Hopefully that’s the only leak and might be form the fact I’m running HVO100 as fuel and that likes to eat old hoses from what I understand. Thank everyone for the support.BJ73 or HZJ73 ? If it eats old hoses it will do the same with the o rings and gaskets in your injection pump , be ready to spend some money on thatLJ73. It’s me being and idiot again. Fingers crossed it won't come to that. Some say it does, other say it's no problem. It's an adventureIf it eats old hoses it will do the same with the o rings and gaskets in your injection pump , be ready to spend some money on that
I assume it’s getting a 2.8? That seems to be all the rage.
