good to see everything sorted out!

Yeah, I just needed to step away, get some clarity in the desert, and let the truck bend to my will.

A local school wanted some "stumps" (rounds for kids to sit on for outdoor learning) My wife and I cut and delivered 90 pieces (12" diam 14" tall) - a few trips with the trailer and the 70....

We have many wedding tents set up at our school so kids can stay outside.

Out with the H55 / In with the new R151 (Photo courtesy of Odd Iron Off Road) The H55 was actually performing very well and will be cleaned up and put on a shelf for a future project.View attachment 2417069View attachment 2417070
Plan “B” ..... I’m not going to keep the H55 / Transfer case. I’ll either clean it up and have it gone through or sell it as is. We don’t have any future projects that require the unit.

Took my son to uwharrie in the BJ73 this weekend. Crawled through every trail without any trouble except the one trail rated "extremely difficult". We did bypass alot of the more difficult obstacles. Will go back and do them once I weld up a transfer case skidplate and some rock sliders. Tirecappers "extra grip"235 85r 16s aired down to 17psi seemed to bite and grip much better than the wider 33-35's that most of the jeeps were running. It's almost like they don't have enough weight/PSI on the big contact patch to make it push into the terrain and dig/bite. Spartan lockers front and rear, DIY sway bar disconnect, and the low speed torque of the diesel made crawling along easy..........Just tried to upload a video, but it won't allow it.

Also made access doors and table for my rear access doors.

My truck never had rear mud flaps. That oversight will soon be corrected. :)View attachment 2424471

My FZJ75 has the smaller, hard rubber ones. Can't say that I'm a big fan of the semi truck look of the large ones unless it's sporting a tray back. Always nice to have new parts though......

Why you changed transmission from Heavy to Light series?
P.M. sent
**** The H55 / transfer case will be sold if there’s any interest.

They may not work on my truck anyway without being modified.

A large box was waiting on the doorstep for me tonight so naturally I had to open it. Inside was a airbox from PDI 😁 so I spent all night in the driveway installing that and doing some other bits and pieces.

uses a VDJ200 series filter element. This thing is huge. Apparently 25% bigger than a duramax filter, which is used as an upgraded filter out here at times. Plus, it's a genuine part😄
