Great article!

Cheers to our very own "medicine man among Land Cruiser aficionados"!!

Andrew, These really were a big improvement and an easy one at that. I have not seen the element style headlamps, what are the advantages? I haven't had the chance to spend much time out in the cold with the Troopy yet (it's garaged fairly often), so no icing issues as of yet, but we will see in the next couple of months how they do.

On a different note: Congratulations Onur!
I have the same as you, but someone pointed out these heated jobbies to me after i bought them. I live in NC so snow and ice are maybe a handful of times if the winter is bad. You might get some more use out of them, They have come down in price, they used to be 350 + for one

Well the Mighty 77 pissed itself today... looks like they changed the timing belt but not the pump...... The entire water system looks like CRAP so time to spend some money. All parts have been ordered. I will post pictures in my thread of the fun!

I had been trying to convince myself that the lack of vacuum & dash brake light was due to cold weather somehow.
Today I pulled and plugged the vac line to brake booster. Dash light went out immediately.
Vac gauge shows 27 inches of Hg on that line.
I had the booster rebuilt and it has a lifetime warranty. Still its a bummer.

I got a bit of use out of the table today...

I didn't drive the BJ75 up to snowboard today...first time it's let me down. It was sub zero for the last couple days and I hadn't driven it since Thursday. I tried to start it this morning about 0700 and it gave me the middle finger, just shuddered a bit, but wouldn't come to life and I was afraid I'd run the batteries down if I kept at it. I took the wife's 80 and hoped she didn't need to go anywhere, as our other two vehicles haven't moved since before Xmas and looked like this:

Wife ended up taking the BJ to the store with no issues at some point today. I think I'll need to start shopping for a block heater or at least a coolant line heater as that was a bummer for the BJ to not fire up like normal.

I had the same issue with my Troop Carrier this weekend, that said it has been down right cold around here over the last week.

Remind me to not complain about the light frost we had this morning. :)

Since it was 6F, I put the A/C condenser in!
So in theory your A/C unit should at least put out air in the 6F range. :)

Went and had some fun on the snow with the central oregon landcruiser club

You guys out really early or really late? Looks cold and dark.
