I don't fully understand why, but driving in the snow-covered rough is one of the great pleasures of life for me. Lovely picture; i should try to remember to take some myself and post them.

JP Car Parts came through again.
I placed an order for some brake booster stuff last Sunday and the bits arrived Friday.

I fixed a persistent leaking turbo coolant line on the 12HT, took two attempts, but finally got it. Soldered up a few broken wires under the hood, removed more aftermarket accessory wiring that connected nothing to no where, then took the Troopy on a grocery run.

I got some more stuff from Japan. Jack, etc.

You guys out really early or really late? Looks cold and dark.

late! wife was falling asleep

Does that troopy have a build thread?

Nope it does not. I have only really just replaced all fluids and filters, tie rods, bolted the winch, new tires, painted inside cabinet, replaced glow plugs and have just DD and camped a lot in it. Cant wait for the warmer days again, though not sure If I will be keeping it until then. Just picked up a cool motor home we are fixing up and might be moving full time into it.

Yes it is!!! I really enjoy it because you get to explore, but it is such a smooth ride!!! Your not beating up your rig on a dirt rocky road. I enjoy a nice dirt road but then I drive super slow because i just dont enjoy beating up my rigs. Smooth snow ride with sunny warm weather. epic

I found this on ebay and fitted it to the cruiser this weekend and happy to say no leaks AND A bargain for 20 dollars. Its a Toyota 4runner water trap and fuel filter with it's own lift pump so now running two Fleetguard 20 micron filters. Happy Days :)

WHERE did you get that? I so need one.

I see @jblueridge gave you a link to cruierparts, I've not had much luck dealing with them. I got mine from ToyotaPartsDeal along with new door seals for our 80. They seem to be about the cheapest domestic source for OEM that I'v e found and they're on the west coast so shipping isn't too bad for me.

I don't think I have the insulator though, where does that go?

Is there a good way to narrow the search to 70 series stuff on their site? I couldn't easily see one.

Moving both batteries to the drivers side to make room for a turbo... Also installed the snorkel earlier this week.

Plenty more pics and info in my threads in my signature.

I used laser cutter to make stencils. Tested on some vinyl before painting vinyl spare cover.
Looks a bit too small because our cutter is 2 ft x 1ft.

Fit the truck in the garage. Needed the help of 325lbs of bumper plates 80lbs of water and both my trailer wheels. Also I had to lift the door a bit while my wife drove in. But it counts.
