I did ditch the X2 battery.
Back in January she was cranking slow. It was cold here, but she was cranking too slow.
Batteries Plus said the X2 was done, at 2 years. This replaced the previous one at 1 year.
They didn't even have any more X2 to warranty-replace with, so I just went with the traditional lead-acid flooded media.
The first X2 I put in there lasted for 6 years. It even survived the alternator dying and going deeply discharged.

It is strange to say this, but we are contemplating selling the LX.
More than contemplating, the wife is ready to ship it.
The boy nudged a tree with it in a winter storm and the wife was ready for something newer.
I need to get current pictures, but now I am wondering what the market is for the 100/470.

All the good things:
  • New tires as of Feb 2025 (BFG KO3s )
  • New battery
  • New starter
  • New alternator
  • Timing belt service w/ new hoses, t-stat and fan bracket
  • New steering rack, plus outer tie rod ends
  • AHC checked via TechStream, levels set and pressures w/in spec
  • New King rear coils
  • Airbags in rear coils
  • Bluetooth / Apple CarPlay Pioneer stereo including backup camera
  • Blue Sea Power Systems power ports added to cargo area - 10 gauge wire
  • USB ports in the front, middle and back seating area
  • Bump It Offroad rear bumper w/ receiver and spindles for swing-outs
  • Bump It Offroad step sliders
  • New leather seats about 5 years ago
  • Fluids, F & R diff (Limited slip differential in rear), t-case, tranny and AHC
  • Tinted windows and windshield
Still to be done
  • AC needs condenser
  • Windshield has crack (down low)
  • Replace driver fender (or not)

Market is soft right now (has been, for a while) but nice ones always sell well. I think taking it to CM is a good idea. Good luck!

My Hundo is the second best and dependable car in the fleet. I have to hang on to it. (2014 CRV is the number one in the house for condition service an reliability.)

How do you like the KO3s?
I love mine to wheel on but run Nittos Terra Grappler otherwise. Way smoother ride and good offroad.

Sad day. What King springs do you have in the rear? How many miles do you have with the bags? I have a set of bags, but have yet to put them in because I've heard they ruin your off-road articulation/driveability.

I will have to look up what Kings I got. I probably linked to them earlier in the thread.
The bags have ~26k miles on them.
When I am not towing, I only keep about 5 psi in each bag. I don't think that is going to impact your articulation.

Yes, she has been an absolutely fantastic machine for us!

I was having the “crank, no-start” that would be remedied by pulling the EFI relay and spreading the legs.
So time for a new fuse block:
