that sunroof is interesting

but does anyone know if it was a stock option? trying to find a replacement glass will probably be difficult.

Thats a custom job, looks like whoever did it knew what they were doing.
Wondeer why there are holes on the top of the windshield frame?

hmm.... reinforcement? maybe they removed the entire sunroof and it streched out that far?

The holes I'm talking about are right above the windshield gasket. Not a good place for holes, water gets in and runs down the windshield frame, right down to the body mount..........after time rust will do some seroius damage.................just form those little holes.

ya... i know... thats what i was referring to as well... they looked kinda like spot welds to me... or the guy did a nasty install by using screws and then cutting the ends off that came of of the metal?.... and they are the width of the sunroof.

I can't remember if they were holes or not. The sun roof just looked like a clean install, never heard of one stock before.
Yes I'm probably going to buy it, haven't talked to the owner since I looked at it, he was gone all weekend. I'll let you know what happens.

for the sunroof you could perhaps try a custom plastic replacement, not sure who would do it, or what sort of plastic, would need to be uv resistant etc.
my boss had a plastic peice made to replace some glass for his motorhome, they even put the curve in it.
just a thought.

p.s. looks good btw, reminds me of mine :D

holes

Those holes above the windscreen look like there was once a wind deflector or something to that effect installed up there.
