I have questions about a hinge. Anyone got a minute to help a guy out?

I originally posted this on the FJ40/55 page and was encouraged to try hear as well.

Looking for all you smart folks to help me understand more about this hinge and get some pictures of the hinge in place. In it's natural environment so to speak.

A friend asked for me to make a replacement so I thought about machining it out of aluminum and adding a stainless steel shoulder bolt and oil impregnated bronze bushings.

Here is where I'm hoping you can help.
What years did this hinge come on? Only FJ55?
Is it for the back rest if the back seat?
Is this a replacement part people would need (how common)?
And finally, a few pictures of the hinge mounted would be very helpful.

Sure looks like a rear seat hinge, can’t imagine those wearing out, probably find a used one somewhere?

If you were to get into the door hinge rebuild business I’d have to believe there would be interest from multiple pigheads on here.

I can do all sorts of relatively small aluminum parts. What did you have in mind?

So how is that pin staying in place? looks like a stake on the bracket?
That looks like a relatively easy part to reproduce.
just did a quick search an found nothing for replacements.

Finally got around to machining the hinges for @dcarpenter . Made from aluminum with Stainless steel shoulder bolts and oil impregnated bronze bushings.
