But it wouldn't be a purist's approach........ Bahahaha.

I have many impure thoughts, mostly about Toyotas (as evidenced below). And yes, get the hood pad, you'll feel better with that and a little Dynamat up in there.

X-Clusive is right

That said, you do have your own account.

How is it that the pad is accessible, but the cross, engine mounts, isolators aren't?

Does Toyota limit to NA market destinations?

Too many dents in the 80, huh?

I did try to buff them out....

My main objective is not precluding participation when Georg leads the "stocker" runs, like this weekend.

(as evidenced below).

Can't see what's below on iPhone, but my curiosity is piqued and will check out on Ipad shortly.

You come out of the closet and expose the impurity to all??

Have added to the ever growing list.........

X-Clusive is right

That one I'm keeping, no matter what, even if it has to be moved after surgery.

I'll ask opinions of maintaining the "4matic", since it could be translated into a "ménage quadra", if one's brain works like mine.

Think it complements the Xclusive well, but also imparts a damn scary vision, considering it smells like Stetson and Old Spice made love in the cabin....a lot.

I can see it on my iPhone......

To expose is a felony in this state - these are artistic photos.

As for running with Georg, I couldn't even keep up with his son (Garrett is the one without the hat below).

The pic finally showed....not what I anticipated. :)

In the dungeon for a few hours this morning and only service is a guest network, which is so slow it's a wonder more don't collapse from heart failure.

(Garrett is the one without the hat below).

Guess the flip down windshield is a bigger benefit if one has flowing locks of hair?

Bahahaha.

Georg sent a video from this weekend and I gotta say, the ol' F in his stocker sure sounds good..... Bahahaha.

That there is some fine metal magic (the skid pan, not the on-site customization of the fenders).

You COULD move to Stockton....

"Kin folks said:

Move to californee, that's the place you ourghta be."

Too unrefined and redneck......I drink wine from a box, ya know?

Chris -
Stockton is not exactly Beverly Hills, ya know. Nice little town with industry, agriculture and awesome Cruiserheads (like Don and Georg).

Well positioned between population centers (SF, SV, etc.) and the Sierra foothills. AND the women are hot.... well, actually, everybody is hot there. :)

one thing to think about: the HF1A can not take the 3:1 low range kit.
But the HF2A from your 80 will bolt to the H151, can be converted to part-time, and will fits the 3:1 kit.

Damn.....well, I'm out then, 'cause I gots ta have me won of dem der concrete ponds!

Bahahaha.

Now, why'd you have to go and bring that up, as I was content with the rationale that the H151F/HF1A was marginally improved over the A343F/HF2A(V) with Mark's gears?

A343F-2.804
HF2A(V) with Mark's-3.116-1
Crawl Ratio-46.22:1

H151F 1st 4.081:1
HF1A L - 2.488:1
Crawl Ratio - 54.06:1

Was happy.....then, calculating your suggestion:

H151F-4.081:1
HF2A with Mark's- 3.116:1
Crawl ratio - 67.27:1

Very valid point....a difficult one to not force reconsiderations given to.

I'm committed to the mechanical motif, hence the MT, levered case, and cable diffs, and already donated the HF2A case necessary to shorten the driveline by 4-5".

But now, @gifu , you dall garn gon and dun it, so lemme know where to send you this bill, to NOT negate the HF1As viability and achieve the best of ALL:

H150F- 4.529:1
HF1A- 2.488:1
Crawl Ratio- 74.65:1

H151F/HF1A

Final Ratio 2/4H
1st-21.59:1
2nd-12.14:1
3rd-7.89:1
4th-5.29:1
5th-4.7:1

Calculated RPMs at 75mph 3,174.20

H150F/HF1A

Final ratio
1st- 23.96:1
2nd- 13.03:1
3rd- 7.88:1
4th- 5.29:1
5th- 4.29:1

Calculated RPMs at 75mph 2,922

FTW!!

Hmmm.... Anyone got a link on swapping the H151F gears/counter shaft to an H150F?

I like where this thread is going. Thanks for posting Chris and easing the suspense.
