Most front bumpers have tow points built into them. This is more for running until you get a front bumper or if you don't plan to get a front bumper.

Yeah mine doesn't look like that on the 05' it's a much smaller loop and wended to the bottom of the frame. I will try to hop on the puter later to post the photo Since it's not letting me on my phone.
This is my 2003 OEM recovery loop. I did more searching and the purpose of the bridle is to balance the load on the two recovery points. Some people recommend a 20 foot strap (the longer the better) to use as a bridle. You can use a regular strap as a bridle, but the key is to make it long so that the triangle that forms is equilateral as much as possible.

Correct you are. You also want to keep the angle on that triangle as low as possible. The wider the V it makes the more stress you will induce on the equipment. Also, the strap needs to be attached by its ends to both recovery points, always try to avoid just looping it through. In fact you would be better off just using a single point over doing it that way.
I generally just use a single point for recovery. I like to take a shorter 6' loop sling and girth hitch it over my rigging then secure it to the other recovery point. That way if there is a failure forward of my girth hitch nothing takes off flying. With a self vectoring bridle you would need to put a damper right on or just behind the bottom of the V where you were attached into your winch cable or tow line.
These beefed up tow points would certainly make me feel better than using the OEM welded on units. I would still use all the same precautions though. I'd be comfortable betting big money that the recovery bracket itself would not fail, but who's to say you won't pull a bolt through the frame or lose a strap. I'm curious to see if @reevesci will be offering any other 120 products in the future.

FWIW, I had to be recovered using a bridle last year(?) - buried in soft sand. We used d-rings in the stock front tie-down hoops to attach the bridle, which was 25'. This was effortless for the pickup pulling me. Snatching using a kinetic strap didn't work, pulling using a static strap didn't work, only the bridle worked.
You have a link or picture to the bridle u used? I thought you can make a bridle out of your strap.
Bridles are smart when recovery is bogged. Sand, heavy mud, etc. I have a huge tree saver that doubles as a bridle. Works great.
@DanKunz Thanks. I just wanted to make sure I didn't need to buy a bridle. A bridle is made when you use a strap like a tree saver to equilaze the load on two points. I saw more videos on YouTube on how to do this.

Just got an update from Jason and the laser cut tow hooks will be back from the laser cutter in 10-12 days. So look for them up on the website in about 2 weeks.

Not a lot to see, and as others have said you can use a strap. Mine is 25' of synthetic winch line with eyes woven into either end.

Yes I did, thank you for everything. Was really cranking out some bends yesterday right up to the top perimeter rail. Got that all done and realized my measurement wasn't correct to give me the look I was going for. Have to order more tube this morning

There already is a strong loop similar to the ones on the 80 Series on the DS. None on the PS due to the exhaust. And if you have a trailer hitch then you have to remove it like I did. I plan on using this now.
