Most front bumpers have tow points built into them. This is more for running until you get a front bumper or if you don't plan to get a front bumper.

This is my 2003 OEM recovery loop. I did more searching and the purpose of the bridle is to balance the load on the two recovery points. Some people recommend a 20 foot strap (the longer the better) to use as a bridle. You can use a regular strap as a bridle, but the key is to make it long so that the triangle that forms is equilateral as much as possible.

You have a link or picture to the bridle u used? I thought you can make a bridle out of your strap.
Maybe I will get my wife a set of these as a Christmas present. That bright red powder coat would be a nice touch.
