Hi, I am new to the forum, and wanted to post my vehicle.

It is a 2005 Lexus GX470 with the following mods:
Installed by previous owners-
  • OME 3" lift kit
  • Cheapo MB-352 Wheels with 285/70/17 Falken Wild Peak A/T's
  • SPC adjustable upper control arms.
Installed by me-
  • A full LED interior light swap, which has made the car feel newer, and more modern. I would highly recommend it.

The next thing that I plan on doing to it is installing LED headlight and fog light bulbs. After that, I will probably get new wheels, and then start saving for a Victory 4x4 front bumper and all the goodies to go with it like lights and a winch. Even thought I just got the vehicle I am already in love with it, and I look forward to all of the places that it will take me.

Congrats on the GX. Definitely a great, capable platform…
Lots of things to suggest, but if you haven’t yet I would suggest “baselining” critical fluids…
Motor oil, diff’s and t-case , coolant, and maybe a tranny refresh.
Also, know that there are grease zircs on the drive shafts (3 on each front and rear shaft)…1 at each u-joint (so 4 total), and 1 each on front and rear slip yokes.
For the joints, just keep pumping until old grease gets expelled. For the slip yokes, only put a few pumps in each…like 3-5.
Enjoy the rig.
