I need one of these! I actually have my column out now and would dearly LOVE to have one to replace when re-assembling!

I'll be taking mine out tomorrow as well, I'll take one if available

OK, that looks doable assuming it's 100% rubber, but I need to be schooled on what it is. Is there a diagram?

If anyone is in need of this piece please come forward as well. Thanks!

I think you are going to find this is very popular. I have several other NOS pieces that I think you could repop. Let's see how this one goes first.

I just had to cut one out of cork to install my coloumn. It worked but not the same. This would be a great part to reproduce.

Wow what's everyone taking the column out for?

Just want to make sure I'm not missing something. Seems like if you buy a piece of rubber sheet and trace out the old one you can cut your own piece without too much trouble.

True enough, but it wouldn't be OEM:(

Alright, I'll give this one a go. It will not be soon enough for anyone who has already got the column out, but should be useful for future sake, or even for my customers who need to take the column out to do an electric power steering conversion.

Mark, I left you a message but I don't want to interrupt your time in the desert, so please feel free to call back at your convenience.

how about a Volvo portal axle boot? I know it is not Toyota Unobtanium; however, It's going under a Toyota and I can't find them.

Maybe we can do something after the firewall boot project:

I had a good chat with Mark today. He's sending me the NOS steering gasket as template, and I can get that project going.

Mark mentioned he has a NOS defrost elbow as well, now we see it. The elbow is very doable. Doing the entire hose will be harder but also doable.

Can some one show some pics of the entire piece, on both sides? Are the elbows the same?
Also curious, why the elbow? I would expect the flexible part of the hose to split before the elbow would.
