lol..nah. I went to the ATM this morning and i took off my seatbelt to get my wallet out. I pulled out of the drive through ATM back on pelham and went about 50 yards and got pulled for no seat belt. I was 25 yards away from pulling into my work. LOL, oh well, at least no points this time.

You are such a rebel :grinpimp:

That law is retarded, if they want to enforce it for children fine.... but for grown adults it should be optional

I agree with the Libertarian - but the problem is more complex than just freedom of choice and government intervention. Too many people don't pay their medical bills from accidents and those costs get shouldered by you and me.

I thought they couldn't pull you over for just that. In GA anyway, they can only cite you for no seat belt if you get pulled over for something else like speeding or accident. But by itself, it is not an offense they can stop you for.

In SC I think is a primary offense something another so you can get pulled over just for that.

Now that is something I would be 10000% behind, I wish they would stop any idiot texting and driving and nail them with a nice fat fine and maybe a little jail time :D. Any fool that thinks his/her meaningless text is more important than the safety of others around them on the road doesn't deserve the privilege of driving on a public road, not to mention the fact that they are a worthless sack of :censor:

Rant off :grinpimp:

I couldn't agree more, JP
I always sound my horn when I see someone texting, just to see their reaction.

Try this...Stopped at a light next to someone texting (with a little space in front of you) move forward like you're going to go, and watch them move also. They don't have a clue what the other traffic is doing.

Yeah at a stoplight!! If you think I have the skills/balls to even consider texting while drive my 50 year old FJ45 with about six inches of play in the steering, swampers, and 2-pump single circuit brakes, you have lost your mind brother :hillbilly:

Good try though, we can't all be badass law breakers like yourself :flipoff2:

dude grab a snickers or something!

Looks like I may be off Friday and Saturday! Got to get some wrenching done!

I have no problem with seat belt use being mandatory...and I'm guilty of driving across the street to the grocery store and goin without my seatbelt...but on the open road it saves lives, I think about the 2 accidents that have happened recently, the one where 6 high school kids were killed after there car went into the creek...and I wonder how often accidents would be less severe and the decrease in deaths would be if more wore there seat belts....rant off...glad u didn't get any points

I love it. Shall I post all the pictures you have sent me of you following your dad down the road?

I'll agree texting while driving is bad. It's a bad habit for me.
