I like an autobox too, (I have an 80 for that) but the a440 was a catastrophe that robbed the 3fe of the little power it was born with..... The fj62 should have had an h55f as an option as well as the cable lockers, and a full floater rear axle.
hindsight is 20/20....especially for those of us that we're not analyzing marketing surveys and cost benefit reports...

I also think all of the FJ series trucks should have come with diesel engines in the US....I'm not a fan at all of the F series engines. The lack of power, low fuel economy and high cost of replacement parts leaves much to be desired. Toyota should have known there was an issue there back in the 70's when SBC swaps were already becoming popular in the FJ's.

Bob normally I'd say he'll yes. But last years annual jay didn't have any and I picked up 3 only to find out later he did the same. So we have 6 rolls which should last us 10 years.
