Heavy day of wrenching on the Tacoma got these window vents installed after many laboring min they were in! Not to bad for $19 off eBay.

Back in April, trying to head out for a week at the beach, I went to jump my 4r to park it in the driveway. Like an idiot, I had the jumper cables reversed. Let it sit until Saturday (inspection and registration were due in June). Ended up getting off very easy. Blew the 80 amp main fuse, (fusible link appeared ok, may have been replaced with wire at some point in time), and blew the 15 amp EFI fuse inside the cab.

Washed it and drove it around a bit.

Got my inspection this morning, so I'm solid on the 4r for a while. Would love to replace the o-rings on the AC system, vac it down for leaks, and recharge with r12 or freeze 12, or just cave in and go r134...

Spent the past couple days plugging away at the drivetrain of my '67. Pulled the tcase, dissasembled and scrubbed for hours at the parts washer.

I was hoping the housing would've come cleaner after washing but not so much. As a result I didn't expect magic but prepped them for glass beading. They actually turned out really good! Planning on just clearing them now vs painting silver.

The outer felt usually under the outside molding section. I'll have some time later today to help if you still need it.

I think Johnny got it. This front drivers door has been a constant issue since I got the truck. The window glass is sandwiched between two felts at the top of the lower section of the door. The inner I replaced awhile ago, The outer which has a chrome strip on it just recently lost all the felt. Now every time I put the window down the force of the inner felt forces the window glass outside the run and wont go back up. Hopefully with the part number above and a couple clips I will be back in business.

I have spare brand new Chinese motor for the passenger side, does that help?

The inner seal is approximately $20 each and easy to replace. The outer seals are $50 each and more difficult. The outer seals have clips that hold them in place and the clips usually break when removing the trim. I replaced the inner seals after dealing with cold air and wind noise from the driver's side door rushing in between the glass and door frame. My outer seals no longer seal due to age and the rubber trim curling up. We should do a HAMOM.

The 60 lives again swapped the carb out for one my dad sent me thank you @landcrusher909 and then managed to forget the vacuum line for the brake booster..... now I understand the stumbles and dying

Still has an exhaust leak because the header to exhaust pipe gasket fell apart went and got a piece of diy gasket that will work for now.

Installed a poop-shovel and emergency zombie axe on the roof rack using quick fiat mounts.

I’m still amazed when these things show up in huge amazon boxes! Always fun.

The medium sized shovel is Bully Tools brand, made in USA, and has paint that flakes off with removal of stickers... FYI the shaft was fire engine red online, but more of a bright pink in reality.

Axe is by Fiskar, seems really solid and seems lighter than I would have guessed.

Quick Fists are really sweet, easy to install and quite cheap for the functionality.

Question: is it okay that the tube they are mounted on is much more narrow than the height of the fist backing? Was trying to decide if I need to weld on a two or three inch backing plate onto the rack?
