That's the truck. Most of what I am doing goes unnoticed unless you open the hood, stoop over and look under or look at the gauges, shifter and pedals. There will be some electrical changes as well, mostly unseen as well.

I replaced the passenger seat gear & cap on the 80 with the Gamviti products. I can finally move the passenger seat!

Interestingly enough, it only needed the inner gear. The outboard/motor side gear was in great shape and the exact dimensions of the Gamviti replacement. So I just left it after a good cleaning and adding some Napa Syl-Glyde grease.

Does anyone have all of the hose diameters for coolant hoses I will need for my 80? I can find the upper, lower to radiator and the lower to engine...but can't find any exact info on replacing them all. I have the Gates hose to do the PHH so I wasn't sure if the rest was all that same size or different. When I searched I just find PHH.

Fresh out of the shaker. Most of any plating they had was already gone. Each gets anti seize, loctite, heads nuts and washers painted.

"shaker" ?? My brass tumbler doesn't seem to be able to do the job. What is this shaker you speak of? Maybe my media isn't course enough?

The photo is an Eastwood, good deal actually with the media. I use the green. It is $20.00 for 5 pounds at harbor freight. I just replaced mine, started out 1/4" was maybe 3/32 and rounded off when done. I probably get 1.5 to 2 trucks worth out of 5 pounds.

@NCFJ Those things look good. How do you loctite AND anti seize the same item? What am I missing here?

Anti seize on some items, lock tight on others. Some get a little of both, bolts with shoulders get anti seize on shoulder, loctite on the threads.

The rock tumbler I use does a nice job but it took a lot of trial & error. "Purple stuff" mixed with a couple cups of blasting media for about 4 hours = very good results.

On the shaker..... I also throw rubber parts in there. It not only cleans the rubber parts but the rubber also sucks up some moisture it has lost over the years and becomes more pliable.

Never thought of purple stuff, good idea

I have a couple bags of that Black Diamond, for use in the blast cabinet. Like it for the blast cabinet @Rice? I have something else in there now.

Pretty close, above the seam on the firewall is already the upper body color. Inner fenders, engine compartment side, will be the same color

So I ordered a flasher relay to stop the super fast blinking when I put in LEDs in the turn signals. I already had put in resistors and the lights blinked fine, but thought the blinker relay might be a cleaner install and reduce things that could go wrong. Well, it would not work. I put the jumper on the relay and plugged it in and nothing. Put the OEM relay back in and it worked. Took out one of the resistors from an LED and tried it both ways....OEM worked both ways....new flasher relay wouldn't work at all. Any ideas?

No, but I think I read in the 100 series forum (i know you don't have a 100) that some people had issues with a new relay for their LEDs, while others have no issues. I still haven't replaced mine though I have the new relay.....

Would the knuckles make a seal yelp while starting to drive?? I put grease in them a few months back and they aren't leaking. The 'ar ar ar' only happens from a dead stop and starting to move.....but not all the time.

Nothing too exciting, but swapped in a new clutch slave cylinder and bleed the nasty clutch fluid on the 60. Hardest parts was juggling the 3 different sized wrenches... 10,14,17mm

It's nice to be able to shift gears again!
