The new 110 1.0HP beast is in service. Wow.

I have several right now. They end up in the scrap yard. I will put the aside. @roadstr6 if you want a small i can get you a inducer fan assembly. Those are the ones that take the combustion air out of the heat exchanger. I dont have anything like what rise has. Everything will be straight drive.

I'm a "fan" of the direct drive units just because they are more compact, can be mounted most anywhere, and less chance stuff (fingers) getting caught up in the pulley. Even the small ones (1/4 HP) move ridiculous amounts of air.

If someone from the triad area makes a run to @Roxx let me know. I could use another 110 if he has enough. Additionally, I'm more than happy to help with wiring and such for those in the area.

weekend wrap up with just a couple pics. The pics do not reflect the amount of work that went into it but needless to say, I am worn out.
Saturday I got the CB wired in and mounted. I wanted it to go in the dash but it was going to take more effort than I had time for "this" weekend so a side mount by the shifter will have to do. Started the ARB compressor mounting before I quit Saturday and finished it up Sunday. I decided not to get Landtanks Canister relocation bracket because why would I need to buy a $117 bracket. Looking back I wish I had. I am by no means a fabricator and would like to have done a few things differently but I can touch them up later. Install is complete and the truck is getting ready for Hurricane creek.

@Roxx if you can hold one of the 110 units if you still have any left I'd appreciate it, also. If you are out - no problemo, and thanks.

I save some i will inventory the mess and get them aside. I get them a lot so i hope the supply never ends.

Got all the decking finished up on the F550 bed yesterday in the rain. So much rain this time of year.

Need to seal it and mount the fill necks before they fall down onto the road again

Hmmm. Heated jacuzzi, recliner and a big screen, perhaps slip&slide off the back.

You can have Jason build you a stream bed circling around the deck out of river rock and ledgestone, with a waterfall. It can be like Rice's backyhard, except mobile.

mind sharing the link for where you found that one?

I made it :) Blue Sea components

Need to seal it and mount the fill necks before they fall down onto the road again

I must have jinxed myself or something, because yesterday AM I drove to work and the zip tie on the rear fill neck failed. After dragging on the ground for what must have been at least a mile, I backed over the stupid thing getting into a spot

Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself.

LOL with you Johnny. I did the same with a Hella driving light, had it off the front bumper, hanging, had to move the truck and drove right over it. It falls into the category "What is the cost of stupid today?" Every so often a person just has to pay for stupid :)

Wrenched on the Jetta again this weekend.

Nothing major. Did rear wheel bearings and rear rotors and pads. Not too bad except for a frozen caliper that took a while to partially rebuild (will have to replace that one soon).

Had front pads and rotors but the fronts were good enough I left them alone for the time being. Most likely i'll do the front bearings at the same time.

Cleaned all the abs speed sensors in an attempt to get that and the traction control working right but it appears one of them is bad. Had to order a VAG COM reader so I can figure out which one it is.

Will put up pics when Andrea sends them to me.
