Got this on clearance at Home Depot for $5. I have a lot of worm-screw hose clamps and hope this might be useful at some point. The shaft is flexible and the head reverses from 1/4" to 5/16".

Also available simply as an extension. Limited torque and sometimes will bind but not bad for clamps and such.

More advertising. I've used this stuff for some time for gun cleaning. I'm not sure why it took me so long to consider trying it on tools (it even says so on the label).

Amazing! Especially the really old, rusty, gunky tools. Also does an A+ job cleaning handles ... pliers, screwdrivers, etc.

I’m always hesitant of things that are new to me but I’m hoping these things prove to be as awesome as they seem. They save room in the junction box (important in a house with old, tiny boxes) and are not permanent like the ones that look like them without the levers.

This might be stretching it here, as a tool, but I finally found a nitrile glove that's large enough for my hands AND easy to put on. No more debating whether its worth the hassle to put on gloves!

Personally, I like these. A little more expensive, but they seem to hold up pretty well. Plus....they're called "Venom Steel"..... I mean that just sounds bad ass.

I have really good luck with the Harbor Freight gloves. I use the 5mil for light duty and the 7mil is heavy enough to re-use IMO. Great prices too

They all work. I use these, this is a case of 10 boxes of 100 gloves each, 500 pairs for $100. Lasts a while.

Depends what you're doing. If you're working in chemicals a lot, gloves protect the skin from long term damage, like dermatitis.

I used to never wear gloves, but now I try to wear them whenever I'm using oils/greases/super messy s***.

I've never found a brand of those gloves that haven't torn off of my big monkey paws within 2 minutes.

I actually like the thin knit gloves with the rubberized stuff. many of them actually fit me well, but not the best with strong chemicals/ acids

Random question...will 4/0 steel wool and something like wd40 help remove flash rust on tools and not scratch up the finish?

Depends on the finish. Super bright polish will need to be polished again after 4/0 steel wool to gain polish depending how much you scrub. Brushed/matte finishes wouldn't be noticeably affected by 4/0 steel wool, unless you really work it for a while.
