Important stuff. Finally took the bed out of the box. It's gotta air out for a few days. Looking kinda lumpy until it does.

Also fixed the fender. Rice - that mysterious torx head screw? Square bit works perfectly. Had to bang and bend the s*** out of the fender to get it back in place but it looks fine. EDIT: in the daylight, it looks preeeety s*** actually :) I'll be shopping for a new set at some point.

Leaving most of the heavy stuff I don't need for this weekend - AC, fridge, etc.

37.5 Lb-ft

I'm gonna say that handle looks like it is at an angle of about 30 degrees from horizontal, and since the torque producing force has to be perpendicular to the moment arm that means the torque would be

25 lbs x 1.5 ft x cos 30 = 32.5 ft lbs.
I hope you don't design O-rings, Jim...

Looks like it's coming together nicely. I dig the bed. Gonna sleep well in that.

Thanks. Yeah - 10" memory foam, I didn't play around this time. Let's hope you're right. Barely slept at all at the Xmas party.

10", damn man. You'll have to let us know how you like it, I bet you'll sleep like a baby in there!

Yeah - that's the hope. When I travel I don't get a good night's sleep. At home I have a nice memory foam mattress that I've gotten used to. So I'm thinking that's the issue. When I had the old RV, I put a memory foam mattress in there and that seemed to help a little (it was only a 6" or so).

We'll see.

Thats one of them harbor freight turbines, right? the one that can power a generator, car, house, home heater, all for 50% off MSRP, because of the "Due to bad weather, Manager's parking lot sale has been extended for an extra week, use your extra 20% off coupon, and get a free electric flyswatter" promotion

Although, I'll admit, we have two of those electric flyswatters, and they are the bombdiggity on mosquitos....you can hear them little suckers sizzle, until the batteries die in 20 seconds.

I have yet to change the batteries in my flyzapper and its been years

Trailer performed well this weekend. Good to get it out there in its non finished state to get an idea of what I 'need' versus what I want.

Shower - I needs it. :)

Damn. I forgot all about that. I wanted to check it out. All I ever saw was the blue 40 poking out of the woods. Did my befouling comment cause you to avoid the spot by the side barn??? :(
I have no idea what you're talking about. So no. :). That creek spot is where it's at!

Yes, it is. Just too far a walk for me. Not sure why I have to visit my truck and tent 739 times a day. Getting old sucks. Shortest path possible FTW. Been thinking about just setting up near the grill one day.

So glad I got to see it up close. Really like what you're doing and it's turning out really nice. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Yeah man. Thanks. Your new rig is super sweet! It's an overlanding condo complex!

So I hate URE dust more than Mud FYI. Can't believe I didn't take a single picture of it in the snow. Oops.

So the 40 and the trailer got a bath.

How's the 40 do towing it? I may have missed it earlier in the thread.
