I know a lot of people have commented here, and we've seen some great feedback from a few purchases. Really impressed with the responses by OP and hoping for nothing but success for TP Auto Parts. Ultimately it's a good thing for everyone.

Hi Ian, I feel bad on this case. As I explained over the phone with you, it was our fault shipping out to you without properly packaged. As what I said, we are going to reimburse back to you all the cost, including that of shipping and parts, and will remake the floor pans in thicker materials and send you a pair for free once they are available. Meanwhile I instructed our production team to double check the material thickness of the OEM floor pans, and send me the comparison pictures. We learned it the hard way.
That's refreshing to see a vendor take solid ownership of the problem and address it without any excuses.
Good on you.

I'm personally doing an OEM restoration, but had this shop been open several months ago I may have aborted OEM and saved thousands in manual body shop labor.

I installed both side of fenders, compared to the oem that I replaced, fitting them is about 90% to install them, see my results, I will buy them again if I needed new fenders

Some of holes did not align, may have to drill a couple more, for the experienced in body shop will be not an issue, it took me 3 hours to fit them, as previously stated I would buy them again, I removed the OEM I had, because someone hit my car on the left fender, and it was cheaper for me to removed as a pair, because OEM are way pricey in my opinion.

On less than 24 hours notice, I got a visit from Tim and Bruce. I explained some of the nuanced differences between the earlier variants in sheet metal designs, and they made their choices accordingly.😊

I see this is a great idea. My corporate hat makes me wonder why Toyota does not have/provide their original drawings / production data. If someone has to find old parts to scan surprises me. I still work with drawings, (machine shop), from the original Apollo program. We do not have to look for old parts, that would be impossible.

Hopefully they wander up and down the isle Mark @65swb45 has all the early 60’s parts stocked 😝
