Right now I have 35" blue label krawlers. But I am considering going to 37s and found a great deal on a set of Toyo MT's load rating C. What experience have those had of observing or using the Toyo MT tires on rocks? Not really too concerned about road handling, although they will get used for the street.

The Toyos I have had were Open Country MT and they were load range E. Best tires I have ever owned. When the first set wore out at 60K, I bought another set. They did great on rocks. The sidewalls on mine were pretty stiff. I usually aired them down to 15 psi for trail duty. Check again on the load rating. I was not aware that the Toyo MT was offered in load range C.

What the others have said. Mine are Range E. I had spent a long time considering other brands, as well as other models of the TOYOs, but my first set was so good I just sucked it up and got another set.

I've got a set of 33x10.50 15s on my 60. They're seven years old now, and have worn very evenly and still have great tread left. I've found them to be very capable on rocks, even when not aired down much, though the outside edge has small chunks missing on all the tires. (I need a locker.) Mine are load range C and I've punched the sidewalls hard a few times with no punctures.

And, they've been unexpectedly good in snow and ice on the road in Colorado. They don't even hum that much on a dry road. No more than BFG ATs or Goodyear Duractracs I've had.

I've had Toyo Open Country AT2 Extremes my last two tire changes. I'm so happy with them that I'm going to go ahead with the Toyo MTs next go around. Seriously an awesome tire.

I've mainly had 4Runners and Toy Pickups through my life, and always had BFG's and the old GY MTR's ..but on the 80 series I went with the Toyo MT. I've been impressed with them. I think I got them in 2014 and they've worn great. I bought them mainly due to the high reviews in desert running, and the robustness of them in general for sharp rocks, cactus and potholes you get in Baja....They worked great in the long silt beds as well as the clay mud, and all the pavement inbetween.

I have 315/75r16 Toyo MTs on the truck. I'm sure load E but forget. Don't plan to buy them again. I liked my General Grabbers (red letters) better and plan to probably go back the Generals again next time, but probably the newer X3. I liked the red letters better overall for summer wheeling duties. Rocks, desert etc.. I have a dedicated set of winter studded tires. The red letter Grabbers were terrible the one time I had them on the truck for a late spring snow storm.

But the Toyo's are good and wearing pretty evenly. I've go a lot of cracking though. This will be summer #4 and the last for them.
