Fan motor in the furnace gave up the ghost yesterday morning and seized tight. Replacement motor is $600+ and they said the control board and heat exchanger on the 18 year old furnace wasn't looking to good either. A new Lennox furnace installed is $2645. Pay the piper now or pay the piper later. I hate dumping $600+ in the old furnace just to have something else go out later and cost as much or more.
Don’t get a lennox. Get a Carrier.
Dont get a carrier or a lennox. Get a Trane. You have less crap to go wrong.

I wish i could. I am on my way to mexico. I saw it last night when you posted it.
I am having one of those weeks that just needs to end. I was bringing home a 5 gallon gas last night and yadda, yadda, yadda I now have 2 gallons of gas in the back of the 100. I pulled the rear carpet and pulled up the carpet behind the second row. So far I have cleaned with baking soda and vinegar twice. After the second dry, I put kitty litter on and under the carpet, after that is in there for a few hours I am going to wash again with dawn, once that dries I plan one final clean with oxy clean. The carpet inst so bad, its the sound deading material underneath.
Looking for any other solutions you all may have had good luck with. If all esle fails I told the wife I am trading it in t his weekend!

I general strap gas cans to the roof rack
I would pull the carpets and leave them hanging in the sun for at least three full days. Do your final cleaning after the sun has flashed the fuel out of the carpet. That method works for my gas soaked clothes anyway.
Or light a match. That will take the smell away
The 2.5L is a bigger pain to install or is the issue with the newer engines having that class action etc?

OK, here is one for you. Google Spider Goat
In brief, they poke a spider, take some DNA or something along those lines, poke a goat embryo and squirt the spider stuff in. The goat milk produced has "silk" in it that is harvested.
Being the skeptic that I am, if scientists are doing this, what the hell else are they doing?
