Im not exactly sure I understand your question man. Can you be more specific? The brake switch has 4 pins. 2 pins are for the brake lamp, 2 pins are for torque converter lockup if I recall. If you are hooking up cruise control it will also need a brake switch signal. Also don't forget to connect a ground to the ground pin in the neutral safety switch on the side of the transmission. That also has a aid in torque converter lockup if I recall. Although the holley terminator is probably completely different from what I did with the stock ecu. Mahle has a nice LS priming video on youtube. Did you intall a new oil pickup oring? If not you may need to do it in the future.

yeah with the Holley Terminator Xmax transmission harness has same round plug but one of the wires needs a +12V source for the torque converter lockup. So it needs to see 12volts until brakes pressed then it’ll go down to 0 correct?

I replaced with a melling oil pump. Oil pick up oring replaced with kit. Used mellings oil priming video and home made Home Depot pressurized sprayer plugged into side of block.

I think that's how it works but check a wiring diagram or post one up if u want.

Well… it’s ALIVE!!! Woohoo 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾. What’s left is to clean up the wiring, add some coolant, and start on the exhaust. Then I can worry about the front drive shaft. The Holley Terminator Xmax ecu setup was a breeze to install. #lsswapped80 #fj80 #80serieslandcruiser #80series #holleyterminatorxmax

Thanks. I've seen done one other swap and didn't feel like trying to merge two pipes when I could just use a y-pipe.
Magnaflow universal mufflers aren’t directional so I run a 2in, 1out muffler in that instance.

I’m in the process of dropping a LS1/4L60E in my 80 using the Holley Terminator X max

Any pointers?
Did the tach output from the Holley work with factory tach?

It's pretty straight forward and easy to install the Terminator Xmax.
- I installed my ecu in the glove box. I tried to mount to the back side of the glove box but there is no room and will hit all that HVAC stuff back there.
- The dbw pedal that came with the motor and did not work with the Terminator Xmax and ended up buying the right one.

I haven't gotten around to getting the tacho to work. I think we will still have to go the same route as folks that use the factory wiring in that they use the Dakota box but that works on 80's 93-97. I have a 91 so in my case I'd have to look for a 93+ tacho in order for the Dakota box to work properly. Has something to do with the signal between 91/92 and 93-97 tachs. Dunno.. this is just a hunch. I'm still thinking about how to go about doing my gauges... even thinking about just getting a blank panel and using autometer gauges.. not sure yet..
