Thinking of painting the 80 Green?

Are the first three original colors for the 40 does anyone know?

I suspect they were picked to be tastefully close to the Nebula Green, but I'm pretty sure the first 3 are not factory colors.

Interesting that the ones we thought were Nebula Green are actually English colors. Close enough for me, anyway

Looks like the first photo has disappeared for some reason. I am interested in the colors of the 2nd and 3rd photos. If they are original or not and wondering what they are?

I can still see the first picture?.... and its not a factory color but I'm leaning in that direction. Picture 2 & 3 are factory, 6H9... Grayish Olive... they look like different colors but are the same...I did mention the color code in my previous post

I think 2 would look good with a flat finish on an 80

It looks as if you're going for a much lighter shade than my green cruiser but in case you were planning on playing around with different finishes I figured I might as well throw up a pic of my satin finish in hopes it might help a bit. I really love the way the look changes in different lighting.

A friend of mine recently restored a 40 with the color in the 2nd and 3rd pics. If anyone is interested I can find out the name of the color he used - he went original on the whole thing, it was a Japanese version right-hand drive.

i was actually thinking about painting mine hunter green the other day. Though that green 80 a few post up looks really nice too... Either way got tons of more things to fix and spend money on before i worry about the paint color

Mine was Dark Metallic green. ... but now it's matte black

but have been recently thinkin about changing it to bright lime green or sommat
