this was a super special time era in my Toyota Lifestyle ....
i coined the Phrase " It's time to saddle up your Unicorn , and BIG YELLOW was my first Rodeo at that approach ......

i was knee deep in my little land cruiser repair and restore shop , and saw the whole Land Cruiser thing i had always known , since age 16 circa 1990 ,

when i would call 1-818- and ask Mr. Mark a few nifty Tech questions and then give him my mom and dad's CC # , and order all kool stuff my after school job at my local TOYOTA Dealer Parts Dept. would not yield .....

my first car is below 12/78 FJ40LV-KCJA usa spec.

in the glove box were a Factory Owners Manual size spec. SOR parts dream little must haves , and also MARKS OFF Road in Burbank .....

I did a vehicle inspection a few hours ago, and when the customer pointed out some talc on his PCV hose that he had gotten during a desert trip ‘a few years ago’ I made him open the air filter housing.

"talc" in a engine bay is usually a code word for. " I used a ABC fire extinguisher in the engine bay"

The turn signal situation on my 40 when I got it. Light under hood so signals would flash normal speed.

I'm pretty sure I mentioned at some point the 40 that had a pair of vice grips holding the two halves of the separated ignition switch wire behind the dash. It would make a spark every time it swung and touched the firewall where the clutch fluid had stripped off the paint!

I'll save the rest of the story for a future podcast, maybe.

Maybe if the middle one was attached to the axle. I’m guessing it was a double shock set up. It might not be apparent, but there’s also an add-a-leaf in the spring pack. “Can you say buckboard ride Timmy?”

All of this hanging off the hot side of the battery. That piece of 14 gauge house wire was tied into the ammeter.
