Yea it was pretty easy once I understood what I needed to tap into. The wiring diagram in the FSM will be your best friend, spend a lot of time understanding which wires you will get into and where. Then label each of the wires, sometimes I write down a translation sheet for all the wires so it would look something like this:It's great seeing your rig coming along nicely! I've been looking at that Viper alarm for a while, just afraid of all the wiring. Was it pretty straight forward? I'm gonna venture to install it soon. that way you know what color wire from your alarm harness needs to connect to what color wire on your vehicle harness.
Also make sure you understand Toyota wire color abbreviations, the first letter is the wire insulation color, the second letter is the strip color. L is Blue.
