Here’s an update on my old 93 I sold to my best friend. These photos are from his shop.
Late this summer we went off roading and he got some panel damage, and the fenders got mangled by trees. So he sent it next door to the body shop.

they removed the fender flares fixed the panels and raptor lined it. I think it looks great.

We also took my buddies brand new carbd trecel all-trac up a pretty challenging trail

Finally going to put regear. I've had a 4.88's in a box on the shelf for a couple years now and just recently the airline for my locker broke inside the rear housing. So I've got to go in to fix that, figured it'd be a good time to throw the gears in.

Looks great (to me) w/out the flares. Did they weld the holes? Any idea what he paid to have all that done?

Not sure what it cost, he has an auto shop so he traded some work for it. And yea they welded it.

Also to make sure I link my most recent mod to this thread I added integrated wireless charging to my center console lid, and here's the link to how I did it

OK, so what was involved in this service Is it just a clean & lube ?
Pretty much, here's a good video by 4wd supercentere from down under. Really need to get the grease out of the planetary gear set and repack it with fresh stuff and address any corrosion.

Frustrating morning...

I’ve welded two nuts to this dumb bolt, hit it with heat, hammers and everything. And it just keeps breaking the bolts off. Going to drill it. So I grabbed the other screws to figure out what tap I need to thread the hole and come to find out these bolts are triangular threads....

probably meant to never be removed, I’ll pat myself on the back for this one...

I think I need to step away from amazon for a bit...

Installed

-- 50" curved LED bar (~20,000 Lumens, single row to replace the double row)
-- 100w solar panel to increase my solar output to 200w
-- Victron SmartCharger 75/15 MPPT Charge Controller
-- Solar mounting brackets (to get the panels way closer to the roof and ditch the Yakima rack)
-- Deutsch Electrical connectors
-- (2) SuperBrightLED DOT Fog LED Pods 1700 lumens each
-- Lumin-x Yellow Tint for Fog Lights because I don't want my bad weather lights to be blue/white, yellow gives more definition in snow and rain.
-- (2) SuperBrightLED Low Profile LED pods 60° beam angle 1300 lumens ea to replace the danglers on my mirrors
-- Digital amp gauge to meter alternator output
-- New rock lights (only 3 are working currently)
-- New Air filter

Installing

-- Front and Rear Ninja Gear Setup kit, so I can install my Nitro 4.88's

Yet to Complete
-- (2) Jonny joints to replace the blown-out ones on my LCA's upfront
-- Bunch o paint and primer to handle the winch, front bumper, grill, trim etc (I have a kit of monstaliner in my basement to refresh the old girl this spring)

Very nice looking landCruiser you have. Mine looked nice once upon a time.

Here is my new 100-watt panel that I'm adding to the roof, so now I have 200-watts total. Also mounted them on low profile mounts.

To squeeze the most out of these two panels I’m replacing my old PWM charger controller with a Victron 75/15 smart controller (MPPT with Bluetooth data logging). The panels will be run in series.

Rock lights replaced with some new waterproof purpose-built units, just had to fab up some brackets for them.

Under mirror lights swapped out. Welded up the holes I drilled for the previous light's power supply since I was able to route the new power supply through the powered mirror wire pass through. The paint is obviously temporary as the monstaliner is getting recoated in the spring.

Original under mirror lights from 4 years ago, I sent these off to the powder coater for recoating since it was peeling off.

Patched the power hole

New slimmer side LED's installed

Started into my rear diff to fix the air line for the locker and install my 4.88's

So I'm taking care of some "while you're there" items. Both Rear calipers have been replaced (right rear was sticking), hand brake adjusted.

Also my driver's door panel had the vinyl peeling back from the leading edge, so I glued it back into place.

Ya know by the end of this whole thing the old girl is going to be pretty schnazzy
