Looking great. I like that color blue.

Me too. I plan on getting it cut and buffed and then throw some ceramic coating on it soon. It should really look good after that.

In the off chance you still have some of the interior pieces- I could really use the inner trim piece that runs up the "A" pillar on the drivers side and over the door opening. It's looks like it's the same beige color my 2k has in it. Let me know if so. Thanks!

I have them. Shoot me a message.

I also have a ton of other interior trim.

Did a little work on the keeper this weekend. Finally got the air bags hooked up and functioning. I ran my nozzles on the back side of the cross member. Pretty easy access in this location. Dropped 15 psi in them just to see them fill up and let them ride. Could really tell tbey were there, but will when this thing loads down. I also took the time to install a new rear tail light because cracks drive me crazy.

I’ve made a few purchases for this truck this week! Up next complete front end rebuild. Spcs uppers, new lowers, tired rods (all), full bearing kit, drilled/slotted rotors and pads all the way around, new bushings for the rear arms, new Cvs, new oem control arm bolts—pretty much everything! Will be super tight when it’s done. Also ordered some new belt molding for the doors and a new drivers side headlight to match my passenger side light. I’m driving the hell out of the truck so it’s woeth it! 4,000 miles in the last 4 weeks or so. Quickly becoming one of my favorite trucks!

Got some time on the 100. First, last weekend I found away to hide my ugly winch box behind the grill. Came out clean enough and gave me plenty of free space to install the Slee led light mount and light. Already received the bracket from Slee. Decided to run one of the Tacoma light switch to the left of steering wheel. Have everything now just need time to install.

Today I was able to throw in a new nav head unit. I love OEM, but the head unit on the 99 leaves a little to be desired. This install was a ton easier then my install in my 01’ LX470 with the Livingston system. Pretty much plug and play with the $19 adapter.

I’m driving this one everyday and hammering out some miles! Already over 157k and climbing. Next up is to block some time for a front end rebuild. Everything’s in boxes waiting!

Looking good! Can you tell me what adapter and head unit you installed? I have a 99 as well that needs an update!

I used the basic adapter below. It worked just fine. I am running Kenwood DNX573S units in my 01 LX, 97 80, and decided to go the same on here. It easy and clean with car play (which I don't use), navigation etc. You can buy the new models and I am sure they are better. Aside from routing your GPS wire and microphone install is about 30 minutes.

I’ve been sitting on parts to rebuild the front end for awhile now. I tackled new cv’s, tie rods inner and outer, SPC upper control arms, new lower control arms, new rear control arm bushings, and new rotors and pads for both sides. It was a job and the rear lower control arm pushing was a pain, but over all cane together well. Truck is super tight and front feels really good.

Took a minute today to get rear brakes and rotors on. While I was back there I needed to open up the hole for one of my air bags. Cleaned up nicely. I also took this time to fluid film as much of the underside of the truck as I could.

Coming along nicely mate, rig looks real good now.

Got a little time today to install the Slee LED light bracket and LED bar to today, curtesy @wngrog. I used a factory Tacoma push button switch for the inside. It’s a little light but pretty bright. Really rounds out the front of the bumper and the Slee bracket adds some protection to my synthetic rope as well.

I was suffering @TRAIL TAILOR website because I needed some apron seals for my 60 and I stumbled upon his rear lower control arm skids. I added them to my cart and decided to install them today. I also want to try his shock covers, but haven’t grabbed them yet. These things are heavy duty and come with all the hard ware you need. I opted not to drill holes for the self tapping bolts because it doesn’t feel like you need them.

I hit them with some paint, dropped my axle in the truck and went to work. I’m not even going to hide it...it took my way to long to line up the bolts through the upper section with the skid. I fought with the passenger side for a long time and finally took the whole rear lower control arm out. Mounted the top bolt with skid then lower bolt.

All in all it came out great! Going to look into the shock covers now.
