Heat & humidity make it set up fast. By the time I got all the way around the truck it was time for the next coat, maybe 20 minutes. It was probably upper 80's & ~50% humidity.

Also, my truck is very dark, almost black, & it had been sitting in the sun. I'd imagine that made it cure faster from being so hot. Do it in the shade!

Nope. Did it in my driveway.

Maybe 20 minutes each coat. It'd probably take twice that to do the whole rig.

For what it's worth, mine was cured the next day. I did it in Houston, in August / I belive it was 99/100 degrees & about 60% humidity.

Did it inside a shop & only had to wait an hour for the second coat.

Rinsed with water around midnight per the instructions & drove it by noon the next day.

I used 3 and could've used more. They deteriorate fast. I'd say 5.

Has anyone added metallic flake to the liner to closer match the factory metallic colors?

Mine has them. Has the gold and white flakes. It was made that way from the paint store to match the color code. You can really see it in the sun.

Not sure if it would show up in a picture but can you take a close up of the paint?

After 18-24 hours you're supposed to hose it down. Is it supposed to say dry after that for a few days? We are supposed to have thunderstorms today and the 80s on the driveway.
I lightly misted mine about 4-5 hours afterwards. It was hard as a rock the next morning.

Can anyone that has lined only their roof share some pics? Curious what lines you chose. I can't decide if I want to carry the line from the rain gutter around the back or not.:meh:
