@jim land - i see your point about the new weatherstripping. It is very thick. I have pulled the strikers in & shut the doors. I'll let them sit a few days & try to readjust. Like I said before, the doors seemed to line up fine without the weatherstripping before they were painted.

Picked up my top today. :bounce:

That looks really good matches up nicely !!

I wasn't happy with the interior lighting under the dash so I switched the green plastic for clear. I like the top one, lower one may be too bright. I'll run it a few days & smoke the clear piece if it needs it.

Your build is excellent. With the OEM weatherstrip, doors will be tough to close at first, even with strikers set just right. I just went thru this. My ambi doors are still tough to close from the new weatherstrip.

yes, as far as I can know. the escutcheon (black cover) came from toyotapartsdeal.com The handle came from one of those overseas ebay sellers. Took about two weeks to get here due to Irma, but they sent an email about the delays, came in Toyota packaging with part number on bag just like the hundreds of parts I've bought in US. No indication that it was a copy. Rear door escutcheon part number is 69265-60010.

Ratio adapter from Commercial Speedometer came in today. Now I’ll know for sure when I’m really hauling ass.
