The good= the 40 is running and back together
The bad= did a compression check to see how bad it was
The Ugly= 110, 105, 115, 100, 110, 120 Dry.
Just not good. I'm going to take it to a local shop tomorrow and see if I can get someone to adjust the valves a little better than me and tune the carb and set timing.
When I set the timing to 7tdc at 650rpm it runs like crap. If I adjust it by ear it runs very nice.
I know I have burned a valve on #4. I'm just hoping I can get it to Tellico and back one more time before the 2fe conversion. Anyone have a suggestion?
