I am so stealing that one build two That is going to look awesome when your done. I freaken love this post mostly because I am on Deck. I am curious to know what the back edge will look like. Are you going to angle it to match the small patch piece. Last question with the back side will you weld a back plate on it so it appears to be capped off?

there will be a fender flare starting at the rear end of the sill

The fiberglass simply peeled of, by hand. Not a lot of structural integrity was added by it? :hillbilly:

what we get nothing?

You may like this one? Nick has been working on the Chicago axle. All of the hard parts that I have seen are in good condition, even the wheel bearings. But some are rusty is going to take some work to make them look nice. The locking hubs look to be in great mechanical condition, but someone was ruff on them, will look kinda beat.:hillbilly:

LOL Kevin you hijacked Claudia's post nice work on the axle. How is her rig coming? is the floor put back together? Laughing my butt off with the cookie!

Worked on the floor support. Bent a hunk of 16G to fit. Split a piece of 2x2" square in the band saw, once cut, it has a bit of an bow, so, straightened in the press.

Marked and drilled for the access holes.

help me out, I've been away from the truck for too long already, why do we need a hole there ?

Painted the insides, tacked it together, put it back in the rig, marked, then removed it and drilled the mount holes. Welded it together, painted the ends that will be somewhat covered by the frame.
