Nice selections Greg. Had those two last a couple weeks back.

It is nice to be past my 5+ years of having to be stone cold sober. My taste assortment for the next few weeks. After going without a cold one for a long time, I am amazed at the additional variety!

From left to right
Olde Hickory Table Rock Pale Ale
Olde hickory Piedmont Pilsner
Oskar Blues Old Chub Scotch Ale
Pisgah Pale Ale
Anderson Valley Hop Ottin IPA
Anderson Valley Heelch O'Hops Double IPA
Anderson Valley Boont Amber Ale - quite tasty
Anderson Valley Spring Hornin Spring IPA - also quite tasty
Anderson Valley Bourbon Barrel Stout - looking forward to this one
Two from Great Lakes: Edmund Fitzgerald Porter and Eliot Ness Amber Lager
And the more mundane Hoegaarden Belgian White Wheat Ale

Good selection!! That's a hell of a way to break back into the art of drinking beer :D

I've only been legal to drink beer for 5 years now.

Good selection!! That's a **** of a way to break back into the art of drinking beer :D

I've only been legal to drink beer for 5 years now.

Now, you're making me feel like an old fart :grinpimp:

I've been getting the taste back for good brews over the last 4 months ... amazing how the taste sensations change / atrophy. Jennifer took me to Total Wine on Saturday and let's just say I went a little nuts ... I probably looked like Robin Williams in the coffee isle in Moscow on the Hudson ...

Had the Table Rock Pale Ale last night with a pizza on the Big Green Egg ... quite tasty

That's 4 years Pre-Johnny. :bang:

So you're saying I AM officially an Old Fart ...

which means my avatar is closer to the truth than many realize ...

While I was in DC I found piney the elder it was $30 a bottle haha

Meatball

Anderson valley has def make its way east. I was drinking that stuff before it ever left Cali. Quality beer and cool labels

Next up is Colorado

Unfortunately on the first day of the booze cruze I drank soo much I can't completely remember the name of every beer I had so I'm just going to post pics of the breweries.... at most of them I tried every beer they had in 4-8oz taster form.

First up Station 26 Brewery Blue Grass and BBQ with some great smokey beers

Next was Crooked Stave which was well interesting...... basically flavors like sage/lilly/poppy.... some were ok but some were terrible

Throughout the rest of the week we went hiking high up in the rockies and did Geochaching activities.

Did make it to a few other Breweries and drank quite a bit of Hop-o-thermia from Alaska Brewery

Most excellent!!!

We are getting this brew tour thing down now...and we could easily fill a few more days going to places many people haven't even heard of!

image.jpg image.jpg KBS should be hitting the shelves in your area today. I kidnapped Mary last Wednesday to accumulate our 4 bottles from 2 stores. Good luck hunting it!

After 6 years of Hunting a keg of it, I found it on draft w no limits at our favorite watering hole.

Al! You shoulda got in touch with me while you were out here in CO. I was only three hours away and had the week off.
