We need a better selection of emogees - this is as close as I can get to JEALOUS:

With the nice weather around and most of the yellow stuff gone, it is a pleasure to travel in!

So darn nice! How do you keep from getting it stolen!!!!??? Pit bull in the passenger seat?? I say this partly in jest, but it seems to be a serious problem out in the western states these days...Best of luck !

At home he hides it in his basement. At work, he watches through the window blinds all day - dunno how he gets any work done...

I just couldn't leave well enough alone.....better now, less chrome! Prismatic 'Vegas Gold' was the color of choice, thanks to @oregon fj for the info provided here on MUD. Not a 100% match, but better than most. Here, take a look against my OEM bumper.

I haven’t see this thread in awhile!! Looking good. On my iPad I can’t tell a difference in color. How’s your bikini top holding up. I’m torn between the cheap Bestop and the trollhole top.

I’m so torn... I really enjoy looking at your truck, but seeing it reminds me of everything else that needs to be done.

Oh well, in time. Keep the pictures coming.

Looks good! Any details on the PC color code and who did them?

The bikini top is doing well. Being my 40 was my DD the past few days, I run at 50mph (+/-) for about 10 minutes or so and hit 60 to 65 from time to time, and the top just flaps a little in the wind but stays where it is supposed too. I listen to some tuns out of the 90's Kenwood receiver, but not a max sound, so wind noise isn't unbearable.

Do you think you could run the rear straps around the outside of the roll bar or would look funny and not work? I frequently have kids riding in the back seats.

Seems like I've seen several pix of some 40's here on MUD in a bikini with the straps around the outside of the roll bar.

Hey Rick, did you get samples from Prismatic Powder? Did you get a sample of the Galaxy Grey III? If you did how does it compare to the Vegas Gold? I bought a bunch of the Galaxy Grey III powder because it looked like a winner. I have not seen this until now and it looks awesome. Please let me know. Thanks.

I received no samples before I made my decision. However, I've been keen to see almost every powder color used to replicate the 'Pewter' on these rigs. Then, unexpectedly, I came across post #327 in @oregon fj thread "Older than dirt". I was so impressed with his sample from Prismatic Powders against the OEM front bumper, I had my extra two hood hooks and windshield latch sets done in this color. It did not disappoint, thus for any future 'Pewter' color, this will be my Go-To.

For some eye candy on the 'Vegas Gold' against a few new OEM parts, see post #10 in this thread "Powder Coating Colors".
