Man, that blows!

All they took was the saw? That’s odd that they didn’t take anything else.

Somebody knew it was there.

That and I just noticed the 6 inch gas auger is missing.

Take 2 on shed security. Wish I had a beefier lock than what I used to secure my weed in my locker in high school. Anyone have a recommendation? Also going to disable the 40 some how. I'm guessing they aren't looking to steal 40 year old vehicles but still.

Motion activated flood lights and cameras. If the lights don't scare them off, the cameras will help identify them. If the lights wake you up you can shoot them, unless you're in MD where you don't have the right to defend yourself.

@iptman Are you and the family home all day and night? That was pretty ballsy, if you are. I’ve been thinking lately about how much crime isn’t happening right now in neighborhoods but have been reading about countless businesses being broken into.

My WAG is a neighborhood teenage miscreant who needs better parents and a close call with his mortality. But what do I know. You definitely aren’t someplace that a random passerby would see and think would be a good place to hit. Definitely far from the street. Any access points by foot from the back?

Maybe rub some poison ivy all over the lock and chain next time. Won’t prevent theft but it’ll give them something to think about. Just remember that you’ll need gloves from now on.

Looking in to PTZ motion follow cameras now. Apparently 3 other sheds were broken in to in our neighborhood over the last 2 nights.

Yeah I've been working from home going on 6 weeks now. My son is all shook up. Been telling him for years how our house is safe and our yard is safe. Need to figure out how to fix that now.

Post an FB marketplace ad for log, cutting, lawn clean up and fence post install...

Sounds like you need to stand watch in the back yard over a couple nights and look out for a truck driving around slowly at the wrong hour of the night. Get some pictures of the plate and have the cops on speed dial.
