Picked up a dirt scooter recently. It’s gross out, but I had to briefly leave the house to scout out some riding areas once the suns out.

Buy the chainsaw, use it, reclaim money

Thanks for the tips guys. Also got some dusk to Dawn floods coming on Monday that will do half wattage throughout the night and pop full when motion is detected.

You might also consider an astragal to cover the door opening. I used a piece of 1/8 thick x 2" x 6' strap steel mounted with carriage bolts - yes, I squared all the holes. I used a keyed Schlage deadbolt on my shed. One door has spring loaded bolts that go into the cement floor and the door frame header, operated by a pull cord to retract both at the same time.

I like this idea. I have rollers on either side of the door opening on the outside of the doors to keep them against the shed. But in looking at it, if someone pulled those out of the ground (not sure if they're in concrete but I doubt it) they could just swing both doors up pivoting on the overhead track. Of course they'd be stupid heavy but doable none the less. I'll definitely look in to this.

Swapped in an Aisin MC for whatever brand was on there. Re-adjusted the rear drums, this time with the wheels/tires on, bled the brake with the motive bleeder and I now have brakes again. I still get a slight whoosh from the master but anecdotally quieter than when I started this exercise. I'll probably order one of the City Racer direct fit tandem repro boosters to put on the shelf in case he ever stops making them and eventually swap it in. The current booster seems to be holding pressure but it sure is nasty.

BTW, this Aisin master has a small cast circle on the other side and you can just make out the 'T' in "TEQ" that they ground off before painting.

Quick o2 sensor for the 62...still took longer than it should have despite being 2 bolts and a plug 😂. Had to dremel a nut off

I’m dreading the day the other one goes out as the plug is way up by the top of the transmission

Any woodworkers out there? I Have 1” and 2” boards, most with trimmed edges, some with live edge (uncut). If you wanna make something out of oak or pine, shoot me a message. Perfect for making that outdoor bar or a bookcase inside (once you dry it)

LT40...drool. Is that yours or one of those guys that'll come to you an mill what you got? Nice 'bota too. Got any oak fence boards cut? 1x6x16+?

BK - Red oak or white oak?

most of the oak is white oak I believe.

I wish it was my mill! It was a local guy that comes travels or saws at his orchard. He has a kiln as well.

I don't think I cut anything 16' long. Lots of 8'-12' though. My father in law had some fence boards cut over at the steamshow in summerset last year. I will see what length he has left.

I do have some red oak I think. I’m not the best at identifying wood, but these slabs and some 1x I think are red oak. Whose good at identifying wood not based on leaves?

I’m starting to think about adding a Blue Sea fuse box and breaker to clean things up and have future capacity.

No one makes a slick mount for the 62– @emorth what kind of plastic would you recommend so I can make my own? Abs? HDPE?

Or if anyone knows a reasonably priced place to cnc some aluminum.
Dude, don't over think it... Where are you trying to mount it? Blue sea is nice but also $$$$. There are plenty of good Amazon sold options out there.

Found the f***er trying to sell the chainsaw on LetGo. Already sold the blower. I reached out to the officer assigned to my case. Hopefully they can get the guy. The 462 comes with a 20 inch bar and I got mine setup with a 28in bar as it shows in the listing. I'll be quite irritated if the police don't follow up on this since these are probably the same guys who did all the other burglaries in the neighborhood that night.

Let go says NLA. I would have gone to buy it and call the cops on the way.
