We'll be leaving from NOVA around 10 July, but maybe earlier if we want to hit up a few stops along the way. Will definitely be doing a night at Great Sand Dunes National Park.

We'll be leaving from NOVA around 10 July, but maybe earlier if we want to hit up a few stops along the way. Will definitely be doing a night at Great Sand Dunes National Park.

I am headed to Cruisers on the Rockies. I am also registered for the Overnight Run with them that starts on Sunday. Last summer... it was 3 days of hard driving to get there, so I will likely be leaving either Wednesday or Thursday before.

I have a Tundra that can haul 11k, so I think a 10k trailer would be doable, although not as easily as Andrew's tow rig.

My tundra w tow package handles the 10k trailer and 80 series just fine

@imperium and @Pulgasari - It looks as though I will be headed out on the 10th. Are you folks headed to the Overnight run, or just headed straight to Silverton? What route are you folks taking and do you have campsites planned along the route?

I am, admittedly, behind on my logistics planning.

I am, admittedly, behind on my logistics planning.

We're also leaving on the 10th with an overnight stop in Wildersville TN and then another overnight stop in Amarillo TX, with both being hotel stops. After that we're headed up to Great Sand Dunes Natl Park, separate from the overnight run. We'll be camping on BLM land on Saturday night and heading to Silverton on Sunday and staying at a hotel the night before COTR starts.

5,000 miles in 10 days. Thanks to @Pulgasari for coming with. Had an absolute blast in Colorado meeting new people and wheeling in some incredible places.

I recommend Cruisers on the Rockies to anyone who hasn't gone yet but I think next year I'm going to ship the truck at least one way, either there or back.
