Making up an air cleaner that seals up to the hood scoop.
This fits a flat type K&N filter made to fit a Porsche 911 (total fluke).
Will post more pics as it progresses.

Mounting it to the rocker cover for now will find out if it can handle the vibs from a 3B.

I cant wait to see how you decide to drain unwanted H2o from the air intake. I am going to do a cold air intake on my 60 as well. Im going through the side of the fender up high (kind of like the 55 series)
Perhaps the air intake on your rig is close enough to the sun that it evaporates before getting to the 'B"
I gabbed a trunk lid seal from a VW jetta and figured it would great as an airbox to body seal. What's your plan to seal it all up?

Because of the brakes i have to go to a 17" wheel, if the 15s don't sell i may have to put them on my pick up or the 40 i picked up.
Got a roll of fire resistant foam from Summit to seal it up to the hood.
I am not to worried about rain getting in, and water from say a crossing would have to be almost chest deep.

Got some new wheels, now all i need is some new rubber.
I fell for these wheels the first time i seen them, seeing them on Brandons 60 build sealed the deal.
I needed to get larger wheels with the brake upgrade so i stepped up.

Love this thing. I am also a fan of those wheels. Buddy down here has em on his 40 with some 40" MTR's (old pattern) and they are just as good lookin on his as they are on Brandon's 60.

Those wheels are pure sex. One of my buddies in NY has them in black on his 4runner. Very high quality beadlock.

What traction bar axle mount is that? Is it the TG one? need any mods for the 60 axle? Any new progress?
