Has anyone ordered this and successfully installed it?

The primary intent is to make your side marker lights flash in sync with your turn signals.

I've been wanting to do this for a bit. I really should make one up. The trick is the blinkers are always off unless blinking, the side markers should be always on unless blinking. Still not that hard, but an extra step.

DS is a PITA. If you build it, they will come.

When DS was developing the product, for some reason that I can't recall, he asked me to beta test one. I agreed, and I installed it. It didn't work. He had me test the voltages at each wire(~10 or so), with lights on and off, turn signals on and off. Never came back with ideas or suggestions on what to try. Didnt want the unit back to see if it was defective. I should have cut my losses then. Six months later, I ordered one, thinking his QC had improved. Installed it, per diagram. Had to reverse wires to each turn signal, just to make them work, and marker lights never flashed. Emailed him. His reply? 'I'm out of ideas' and 'as many of these that have been installed in vehicles like yours with no issues, you must just have a unique issue'. He never gave me any ideas. I asked for the name of someone with a 60 series who had installed one. No answer to that, just 'send it back to me and I'll give you a refund'. Given that over 150 members have looked at this post as of now, and no one else has bought/installed one, I'm not buying his line about other vehicles.

Short response - Don't order one.

I can't speak for Mr. Stern but I know I've hit the end on a few things where I just throw my hands up and say I'm done. Every problem is solvable but some aren't worth the effort. Sometimes at the outset you don't think it will take much effort, but when you get into the thick of it and the problem keeps throwing curveballs at you, you realize you've sunk too much time into a thing and it's time to cut your losses.

I concur ... I never trusted that guy ....

Could you not just use 2 relays and use the turn signal bulb to activate the first normal relay and send power to another relay that is a resting closed relay? That second relay is connected at rest, then when your blinker blinks, it energizes the coil on relay 1 and then sends signal to relay 2 which will break the power or ground going to the bulbs on the side markers?

It wouldnt be perfectly timed together, but it would take like 10 min to wire up and cost less than $20. They would probably flash opposite of each other. Turn signal flashes, side markers dark, then back and forth like that
