Really like the engine bay pics but why are some of you using the radiator hose clamps that you have to screw compared to the original toyota clamps that squeeze? I used to buy the screw type but long term they damage the hoses. Specially on a 60 that throws off a lot of heat.
Not if you use high quality German style hose clamps that are smooth on the inside.
 
This is not mine but I stumbled across this photo while I was looking for an FJ60 and it was such a great engine bay I knew it would be motivation for me when i got my own. Kudos to who ever the actual owner is:

After powdercoating and replating rusty parts and replacing fasteners. Picture taken on the day of maiden voyage after the restoration - so don't give me s*** that it looks too clean.

Kind of ashamed I never posted. Funny cause I just took an engine bay picture tonight before seeing this thread.

1984 FJ60. 230k. Original (rebuilt) engine. Desmogged. SOR Header. Stainless battery tray.
