Pictures are so much better with some sound.

It sounds pretty epic. Is the exhaust drone noisy inside the cab? Or is this the go pro effect but for sound?

It's not too bad in the cab. With the Second Skin sound deadening, carpet and pad a lot is muffled out. Not going to pretend it's quite, but I've been on a few 4+ hour drives on the highway and wasn't super bothered by it.

Tor mentioned when I did my swap that if I installed cats it would be a lot quieter ... I didn't install cats.

Mother of god, your engine sounds so good.
But it ain’t Toyota. I go over this in my head. When the time comes will I stay Toyota, Cummins, or Chevy? A guy loses sleep over such decisions. The goodness is that my engine is solid at 312k.

I doubt my truck will be getting another 300k on it. I'm fine with the 465hp Chevy and an 8 speed that lets me do 35MPH in low range and maintain a crawl ratio of 95:1. :flipoff2:

Another good day in the snow. About 18' of fresh fluff above 3000'. Managed to make it to the top with no lockers engaged to prove a point, though it would have been a hell of a lot easier if I'd pressed the button =)View attachment 3250465View attachment 3250466View attachment 3250468View attachment 3250469View attachment 3250467
Those Delta front bumpers are really starting to grow on me. Top favorites in no order Delta, Dissent and 4x4 Labs. The LC is looking good.

Funny I was thinking the same thing. I didn't care for then at first but in the last picture it's looking really good.
Great pictures !!

Matts's build has been sort of an inspiration for me. I'm drunk. He's Australian. Who cares. Delta bumpers look f***ing great. That is all.
They sure do!

Washouts and slushy hill climbs. I managed not to fall in to the apex on the climb. Can't say the same for the jeep in front of me  . Trail was 8-10" of rotting snow over ice; not much traction to be found anywhere. Probably should have chained up, but I didn't bring them with me (of course).

@Dusten took way better pictures than I did =/

Pure awesomeness. Fuel still acting like it should?

Tell me. Is @Dusten as cantankerous a vet in real life as he appears on the forum? :flipoff2:
Zero fuel issues.

Dusten is great. His daughter is a good driver, too.

Glad to hear your fuel issues are trending positive.

I knew he was a softy. It’s fantastic you guys got out together. Wish I was invited. 😘

Maybe if you had an engine in your 80 ...

Huge softy

And since the other video kinda sucks from in the cab - This definitely shows the abuse a little better.

Tonga Ridge - about 48" of cascade concrete.
