The owner informed me he was meeting a friend at Hawk Pride in a couple of weeks. I’m waiting on some parts to get his ARBs installed so we turned our attention to adding some tasteful armor to this thing. The stock rear bumper is basically a damage multiplier.

Veterans Day weekend? Some of us from DLC in Birmingham will be there. Might be a few other 70 series. Can you confirm?

Has anyone ever mounted a ARB dual compressor under the hood of a FZJ75?

I don’t see any room for it. May have to put it under the bed.

My arb compressor is going under the bed (even with all the engine bay room the 3F leaves). ARB said it’ll be fine there 🤷🏻‍♂️

Are you planning to do a sniper on this build?

No, we had the carb rebuilt by the JimC of Saudi on this one and his Saudi 80 and I gotta say, I just don’t see it needing one. Pulls super hard. Runs fantastic.

Wired up the Baja Design lights today. Bright AF

Changed the oil. Nice seeing a classic big boi

I added a bottle of windshield washer fluid only to find that the bottle has a leak and it all poured out on the shop floor. Gotta order one

Cracked open the rear to start on the ARB install. Nice to see all new rear brakes and bearings already. Added some ARP studs for when I plug it all back in

Got the rear 3rds swapped and it’s back full of 90 wt.

Went back with 1.5” spacers in the rear. This should eliminate the little bit of tire rub on the body and exhaust.

The Wizard has the bumperette idea pretty mapped out. He still needs to come up with some support from the outer frame out to the ends so these don’t twist with a hard hit
