The countdown to SAS has been legendary here. You know you’re almost done when you’re reinstalling the skid plate. Knocked off the last items this morning..
Greased all driveshafts and suspension points
Replaced Brake booster
Bled brakes and performed final road test
Packed parts for some SAS attendees
Installed tent
Fixed the stereo! Critical for sanity on the 20+hrs of driving from NYC.
Shush.

Some of us are in chaos right now
Yup. Had my stereo go south last week but luckily it was just a connector that I could fix. House looks like a bomb went off in here. Camp stuff, raffle items for SAS, whiskey bottles….sheesh…

Stoked to meet all you legends in a week!

Brandon is actually bringing me a trans skid plate so I’ll have to be careful getting over the pass on the way in😬

One of my favorite moments from last year.
Screams new friends, future old friends and a bit of romper room.

Made the cut, 2 weeks notice one week out. New Birfield installed, New 39s mounted up, diff oil drained and filled, fresh transfer case oil and transmission fluid drain and flush with new filter. Trailer is loaded with enough Red Oak to BBQ Santa Maria style all week. Few more small things to do in the coming days can't wait to see everyone again! 😁

80, 60, 55 nice set of Toyota 4x4’s!

I know the feeling. One drip turned into this! Think I got it straight! I do not have the warm and fuzzy's yet. Leave in 5 days to drag a gooseneck and two 40's 2000 miles. I will be watching this over the next few days.

Ok I'm gonna need to see first hand how this Santa Maria style works. Does it only apply to Tri-tip?

Thats GM for ya.

Only thing worse than that is RAM
Only thing worse than RAM is Ford
Only thing worse than Ford is GM

I wish one of the Japanese manufactures could build a pickup for this market

Trail run shake down today, 100% successful. 90 minutes highway there and back - lord this new 2F just wants to wind up, I don’t even notice when I’m at 3200rpm. Ran great on the trail all day. Temps locked at 190-195 in all conditions.

A little tick-tick-tick from the back right that sounds like a rock in the tire. But it’s not, it’s been going on for a few months. The new radiator works great but the mounting holes for the shroud are a little lower than stock so the fan gently buzzes the shroud in 4low pretty often. I can live with those things.

Calling it good. Loading up Thursday, hitting the road Friday morning.

So glad it all came together for you, job well done!

Where do you have your temp sender located? I’ve been seeing 200-205F off my sender on the engine block in 85-90F ambient with the AC running.
