Funny how the fisheye in the last pic makes your rear axle look busted. Oh, and you missed putting your sig in a few pics.

I wish I could tell you. I have no idea what I've got. I bought these Thule bars from TrunkMonkey a couple years ago. He might remember which model they are.
I had BFG AT's on my '94. I did not like them. They slipped on wet asphalt, sucked in mud, and really were more of a compromise in the sense that they stunk at everything, as opposed to being okay at everything. The LTX M/S that I had originally did better off-road in the Alabama muck and clay. Never tried them in heavy sand. The upshot is that they wear really well (which means you have those pos's forever).

I wouldn't want them in a muddy environment. I have never had them slip on wet asphalt. I have actually liked them far better than I would have expected. They have been great on the road. Good traction in the winter in all but very deep snow, and have been better off road that I would have imagined but that's around Utah on mostly rocky trails, moderate speed desert roads, and Moab slickrock where they get great traction. So it sounds like it's definitely a location/type of wheeling factor with these tires.
I agree that they definitely have an application, but mud is not it.

You have the Early SF rear. It looks likes you also have factory R134a A/C by the position of the A/C dryer.
My 93 has the full floater (no OEM lockers) but the R12. What month is your 93?
btw, great pics! The wife and I are looking at upgrading to a decent camera, do you think the Canon Rebel XTi is a decent one to look at?

The pics were taken in a freakin construction site of a bunch of empty residential lots less that 30 seconds from my house. Just happen to be overgrown at the moment. Holy crap you guys have been bustin my balls over these pics.
As for regearing. I've thought of it before, but didn't even consider it when I did the Aussie. No time, and no money. Hasn't been that big of an issue for me so I'm leaving it as is.

I don't recall what month my truck is. Yes it has the R134a A/C.
Rebel XTi is a great starter Digital SLR. You'll love it.

It was nice to meet you at CM. Maybe next year, you'll bring the troops as well. I've always appreciated your willingness to look outside the "box" (pun intended) for more budget minded mods, even if the naysayers don't think it'll work. You've certainly proved that many do work including the sliders which have gained a following of sorts.

I also h8mud, but believe that it needs to be punished occasionally, especially since it is all but non-existent here in CO (expect for the small bit I found for my avatar).
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who's wife has an incredibly capable grocery getter/station wagon.
